Even they would only get a first vaccination in time, and immunity takes time to develop. Making a difference very proximal to nil before the start of term.
The government might be annoyed, but planning for pre-autumn term vaccination needed to have been in place months ago. With implementation already well established and, indeed, well through the first vaccinations, and seconds starting soon.
