No one has ever given me money and I’ve never asked anyone for money. On the other hand, I’ve given other people money and I’ve asked them if they need money. But I find giving them my time is better currency.
In the spirit of moving on, let me help you of the soap box. We all get onto soap boxes sometime. more so on this thread. it can be difficult to get off (take teflon Tony, he still hasn't managed to kick the sanctimony). Weve all asked for, taken money, time. It's good it's our shared humanity.

It was OG who introduced the topic on the thread. Perhaps it would be more appropriate to address your words to him?

He does have a vivid imagination and can sometimes see things that aren’t there :)

Try being
I would be very surprised if you did more than me to support society and to help people. I find most lefties are all gob and activity. Very little in the way of actually doing tangible action. Me, I’m out there helping folks and presenting them with opportunities.
Try being a full time carer 24/7 365 days of the year with someone suffering dementia and see how you fare in the " Very little in the way of actually doing tangible action."
Lots of us "left wingers" are fighting the last battle knowing we have lost before we start.
Meanwhile you help others by lightening their wallets.
Even worse to protect that wallet you voted for Dr Doom and Johnson, then see no irony about complaining about what they do!
Some role model

While there is some truth to that I can at times see things before they arrive, remember that.

Well, it did start when you said you do more for others than left wingers who's all gob (which brings to mind my full time job in the nhs that's certainly not become less busy). But I'll take that as the first step of the box.

Trump’s quacks say he’s doing well and the hospitalisation is precautionary. The White House say that his condition is a cause of concern and they won’t say that he’s not receiving oxygen therapy. I wonder what’s going on?

I didn’t actually say that. You are trying to do one of those Trump jobs on me. :)

Maybe Cummings is moonlighting for them to make ends meet?
It does seem reminiscent of one of his arranged little dramas!

Even for the Express this is bizarre
"
'That's what Labour is all about!' Boris Johnson exposes Starmer's plot to 'exploit' COVID
BORIS JOHNSON delivered a brilliant slapdown of Sir Keir Starmer as the Labour leader accused the Prime Minister of failing to properly handle the coronavirus crisis despite his party approving all the Government's latest measures.

How can they conflate Starmer kicking Johnson's backside with a "slapdown" going in the other direction?

And even more peculiar is the contention that because there is a consensus on applying new restrictions that cancels out justified criticism of all the other mistakes the government are making?

It really doesn't indicate the existence of much faith the editor has in the intelligence of their readership, and worse than that, is the undeniable fact that undoubtedly he has judged that very well!

It's a fake story, he hasn't caught Covid-19, it's just a fashionable establishment dodge to avoid something or other. Half our cabinet used it at various times, as did Dominic Cummings and some of Trump's team. Even some of our royal family have employed it.

That’s why no one takes any notice of you and why you will remain insignificant.

It’s always someone else’s fault. It’s not. People need to take responsibility for themselves. You included in that.

Don’t concern yourself about me. I’ve made money from property and other self generated income, it’s in the bank now. Current income is just a bonus and I’ll be out of it before your envy tax kicks in.

You keep your nose to the grindstone. You’ve got a long working career ahead of you, achieving nothing remarkable and paying for Covid.
lol. Good one golf bore.

ive won a BAFTA. I have reached the highest level possible in my field. I do not envy you. I pity the hate in your heart. And the ignorance in your brain.

I work less than 14 days a month on average. Unless I am doing people a favour. As I am so expertly experienced in my field of employment the only grindstone I use is when Im cutting enormously large and expensive joints of meat.
I have a wonderful family and experienced so many highs I’m amazed my heart and brain still function to such exceptional levels.

i could go on and on about my achievements but do you see how boring it is to read such nonsense?

You are over compensating for something.

its a very strange thing to want praise and adulation from total strangers on a message board.

But here we are.

Lets get real.
1.Giving an untested chemical as the Regenogin is, ,smacks of desperation. Now the medicos ensured they won't lose their licences by getting emergency approval.
2. Giving oxygen is no big deal .. loads of people get it in ambulances every day. It makes breathing less effort. We have it here at home. I cannot see why anyone would make a big deal over it . Intubation on the other hand, is a big deal
3. Assuming he is ill and not faking it, this disease is very serious for an overweight 75 year old. BJ was ,what 20 years younger and is still not over it.
4. The politics of this stink, his medical team are turning into PR Junkies in order not to spook the stock exchange

Well the something or other is obvious.. a second debate. We will see over the next week or so.. if the hearing for the Supreme court continue it is more likely fake, if they stop, then it might be real.
