What's going on in the football league?

Last week, nearly every player, pundit, captain and manager were wearing BLM badges and kneeling in support. All the players gave up their names and had "Black lives matter" on their shirts instead. Anybody that said that the football league wasn't in total support of the BLM movement, you'd have sent for mental treatment.

Now, quote from The Mail, "The Premier League said it recognised 'the importance of the message that black lives matter' but made clear that it 'does not endorse any political organisation or movement, nor support any group that calls for violence or condones illegal activity' ". Badges and slogans seem to have disappeared. basically, they seem to be distancing themselves from the BLM movement.

Who's side are they on? Should we boycott them for not supporting BLM anymore after their insincere token show, or boycott them because they do?

Are they implying that BLM is violent and illegal? Even our leader Kier Starmer seems to be back-tracking on his support just like the Premier League when he called it a 'shame' that the sentiment behind the Black Lives Matter protests was getting 'tangled up with these organisational issues' and said calls to defund the police were 'nonsense.' Doesn't he know that BLM is about toppling the capital system, not about race or colour. Surely, he's completely wrong, when even Greta Thunberg has joined BLM now.

No.. I think the league is very sensible and sensitive. The key part of their message was .. endorsing political movements. The concept is" Omnes Res in moderato"

Probably the difference between the players and other people involved, and the bureaucratic league whose attitude is typified by the their idea of support for a struggling club 'As a result of Wigan Athletic confirming they have entered into administration, the Club will be subject to a 12-point deduction'.

maybe the real change was at the beginning of the 2010s. The rise of popularism, and Brexit is a consequence of popularism. Social media has made it easy for politicians wanting to attract the mobile phone generation who like instant results (like swipe left to delete what you don't like, buy now pay later).
It's much easier to be listened to when you say 'be in control' because that implies they have no obligation to do anything or solve any problem immediately, they'll get it sorted later when they are in control. Whereas membership means bills to pay and not many like that.
You've nothing to complain about. You've had your best year already since Brexit became certain, and we've hardly started. All the prophecies of doom were completely unfounded. Don't think that the boom is down to the virus. I just bought anew motorbike. The dealer said this year has been absolutely mental when it comes to sales. They're having to expand their building and staff.

I think you are mixing up the intrusion of neo nazis into BLM with the genuine movement. It's the neo nazis who are wanting to topple the capital system by looking for any opening to disrupt.

BLM is in good health and the Premier League still supports it. If you watch match of the day on BBC 1 tomorrow night, I'm confident you'll see the knee being taken in each match start.

I'm not mixing up anything. I didn't express any opinions except that it looks like KS is back-tracking. The rest was statements of facts and questions. Do you mean that KS is getting mixed up or the Premier league?

Can you imagine what would happen when they all knelt down for BLM in front of a live crowd instead of pictures of Bin Laden, Adolf Hitler, a horse and a few cats and dogs?

I should add my very good friend Penny Mordaunt informs me the city of Portsmouth just up the road from me has been placed on there incorrectly so take the whole list with a pinch Hydroxychloroquine.

The BLM thing is fizzling out. It was nothing, a protest against something that doesn’t exist. A cure for laziness would end most of the perceived discrimination that these clowns imagine they are being subjected to.

All purchased with money people don’t have and can’t afford to repay. Repo man will be knockin’ on the door very soon when the COVID & Brexit job losses kick in. And the big prize is squat all, absolutely nothing. I’ve not been able to find a single Brexiteer who can tell me what they expect to gain from Brexit.

Kneeling should be made a Red Card offence. Any player caught clowning around on their knees should be removed from the pitch immediately and face a 10 match ban.

it's because public transport is down by 90%.
Those who are too scared to go on buses and trains will have to find alternative transports. Cars are too expensive for short journeys hence demand goes up for motorbikes and bikes.
I have never sold out my stock so quickly since 2011. All gone before end of May.

Cities with large BLAME communities aren’t doing very well. Leicester has a big Injun community and they’ve been cracking on like nothing is happening. It’s not unusual to find 30, or more, people stitching garments in a two up, two down terraced house and that’s carried on throughout the lockdown. Leicester is a crazy city, ace curry houses though, but can’t see myself ever going to one again, unless there is a Coronavirus vaccine.

Why is the news full of speculation regarding “the deal” when talking about Brexit? Will it be a good deal, a bad deal, or no deal? They are talking it to death. Even the EU are speculating which deal it will be. Is it just me, but what about the “Oven Ready Deal”? The one that’s going to get Brexit done. What’s all the fuss about? Just trigger the Oven Ready Deal.

The problem with the deal is exactly the same problem with the air bridge corridors into and out of the UK. The UK knows exactly what other people should do
