The proper way to conduct mass testing is obvious when you think about it

I love it, imagine what would happen if this appeared in America as a spoof official Trump tweet
You never know, such a tweet might not even be a spoof one. (but a genuine twat tweet)

guilty or not, they are not in power. Trump is, and he is a clear and present danger
His program of government makes the rich richer and the poor poorer.
Have you got some examples of what he's done to make the poor get poorer? I heard that he's dragged a lot of people out of poverty by creating jobs for the areas where there was high unemployment, especially for black and Hispanic people. All guys I follow on social media, who are mainly traditional left-wing, say they're financially better off as a result of Trump.

Oh dear, they're starting to gang up on Obama now. The Mexican president wants to know about operation Fast and Furious. The gun-running to Mexico is said to be how the Clintons made all their money, along with drugs and human trafficking. Obama seems to have had his nose in the trough too. There's more to this story than meets the eye. Note these words in it, "as his regime digs for possible corruption under previous administrations.":

Boris is losing supporters
In the Telegraph
"
Come on Boris, tell a frightened nation that its fears are out of proportion
The Prime Minister's latest speech was far from his finest hour. It's time he started to listen to the Ladies' Tea Party
ALLISON PEARSON

What's this "ladies tea party nonsense?" Another Tory secret society?

The Express is struggling with this pne
"
Brussels’ global influence dealt major blow after Brexit ‘Without the UK, EU is worse off’
THE European Union is a diminished force on the world scene without the United Kingdom within its ranks, President Barrack Obama's former ambassador to the bloc has claimed.

The usual numbskull readers immediately attack Obama for his pro EU stance , not having read past his name to opinion being that of a "former ambassador" nor having checked that in fact Obama felt it wasn't to our advantage, or to America's nor the EU's
And of course the rather obvious point the the effect on them is hardly likely to be more than a tenth of what it will be on us.

When the government's own advisor feels the need to write this article for public consumptions, something has gone very, very wrong.

Transparency is key in a crisis - so why isn't the British government being straight with us?
Stephen Reicher

Contrary to popular belief, people rarely panic in dangerous situations. Withholding information is patronising and counter-productive

Ultimately, though, we need a broader shift in the relationship between the state and its citizens. The government must abandon a psychology that infantilises people. It must recognise and respect the ability of the public to acknowledge and deal with harsh realities. It must engage us as full partners in every stage of the strategy against Covid-19: from formulating a response, to implementing and evaluating policy. And, as in any constructive relationship, none of this can happen without putting openness at the very heart of what government does.

No surprise here, then...

The BBC Disclosure programme, which was broadcast on Monday night, also reveals there were multiple transmissions of the virus in Edinburgh in February, well before the first confirmed cases in Scotland, but this was not disclosed to the public.

Ye Gods!

The situation in Birmingham comes as rather a shock!
And this possibily surprising locus:

The remote Cumbrian town with the UK's highest Covid-19 infection rate

Barrow-in-Furness has fewer visitors than the nearby Lake District, yet has one of the worst death rates outside London

Transport Secretary Grant Shapps tells LBC that he is moving forward the trial of eScooters to help keep people off public transport.

Get the public onto Escooters, so the dead and injured can be blamed on the public not being "Alert"
What a brilliant smokescreen to avoid the government tackling public transport safety, offer an alternative way of killing yourself. Do I smell Cummings again?

I see the test spammers have started.

COVID-19 ELISA Antibody and PCR COVID-19 testing service

I have reported it - anyone know how quickly spam gets taken down? This is the first time I have felt the urge to report a post.

Many of you will remember prior to us joining the EU or the EEC I think it was called back them, we had a reputation as being the sick man of Europe.

Considering we were 4 weeks behind Italy at one time (BJ provided this information in person in one of the daily briefings) so the Tories can't deny it. How have we ended up perhaps the second worse country in the world (after the USA) at handling the virus.

Does anyone think this government are going to make a success of Brexit? Many other governments in the west are expecting us to return to our old status of being the sick man of Europe. More on this from this link.

Having given some thought to the e-scooter question, do we really want the type of person who rides these things amongst us in society? Probably not, so what a great way to get rid of them.

No, the government won’t make a success of Brexit. They have shown their hand with the way they have handled Coronavirus. I’m afraid they are full of **** and this country is incapable of functioning without outside help from the EU.
