Have read your last 3 posts on these Games - i fail to see where you`re going with all this, maybe you can expand on your thinking of how this is tied into how the virus originated and how it was transmitted from Wuhan?
Ta.
Fair enough. There was a major sporting activity in Wuhan in Oct 19. 10,000 military service personnel from around the world were present.. these would all have been active age serving soldiers. It is likely that some of them somewhere were in security details . Typical places requiring security will include government labs. There are more countries than China and the USA with government funded bio tech labs. Even were it not deliberate there were 10,000 plus foreigners present ,and any one, could have inadvertently brought the virus. The time line matches exposure of Wuhan inhabitants and later presentation of the virus.
This is speculative, as was the accusation in February by a US Senator on USA TV implying that a high tech bio lab near Wuhan was the source. This was countered by a Chinese official in March suggesting that the USA team might have brought it. This then allowed Trump to go on a rant, which he has recently recycled of it being Chinese ,and that they therefore owe the Americans something.
My Speculation is simply to say that if it were imported, there could be plenty of other candidate countries ,not just the USA. Perhaps the only major country not implicated would be the UK. Equally I am not suggesting it was a deliberate attempt to create a pandemic, by releasing a pathogen.

Being the weekend I don't suppose they could fiddle the figures by posting kits and calling them completed tests.
They posted them out without instructions, without return labels, and without (for example) identifying whether care home staff who are not nurses are even allowed to administer them.

I know! It is the utterly trustworthy DM, but...

PICTURED: US Army reservist at center of Chinese conspiracy theories that claim SHE brought virus to Wuhan during military games last year as patient zero - and now fears for her family's life
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8261173/US-Army-reservist-center-Chinese-conspiracy-theories-claiming-brought-virus-Wuhan.html
If that is true it will be the second time someone in the US military has been patient zero in a global pandemic. The first official cases of the 1918 Spanish flu pandemic were recorded at the U.S. Army’s Camp Funston, Kansas

No. What I said, and can be verified independently is that Wuhan hosted a military type Olympic games, restricted to members of different countries armed forces. The sports included all the standard stuff like boxing judo ,athletics, basketball, and more military activities .. marksmanship, parachuting gymnastics etc. The dates are consistent with the outbreak.
A 110 different countries, and 9000+ competitors took part including contingents from the USA of 172 athletes and of course coaches . It was a very big deal for Wuhan. Curiously the UK was one of the few major countries which did not participate. Even Ireland had a small group of 32.
Now these are serving soldiers. Where would you put your prize athletes? Say your middle weight boxers? Maybe someone you were hoping for Olympic Gold or Army Navy competition ?
A reasonable role is guard duty. What do they guard?. Post offices?, Embassies? Military installations and research establishment?
Your ignorance is matched only by your arrogance, so I will add this one to your list of apologies expected.
I can’t see this as a credible scenario. If the virus was taken to Wuhan by a visitor, then there would have been an outbreak in the infected visitor’s country prior to Wuhan. That didn’t happen, so your theory remains a bag of old bollicks.

Maybe not so - testing wasn't quite so hot then. The 1918/19 Flu pandemic origins are quike murky:

not a credible scenario if the virus is naturally occuring which is so far still unproven.
but if the virus is taken from a laboratory by a visitor then the scenario is credible.

Hmm, i`ve a problem with the time-line there,
Oct 19th imported to Wuhan - first record of patient with symptoms is December, should have shown up sooner, also an outbreak would have been evident around that time at that competitors home country

If it were imported why then the panic by the Chinese to cover up and silence everyone?

No, this is a mess of the chinese own making there in the Wuhan Lab, i wouldn`t be surprised they used the nearby market as some sort of test centre

Deliberately or accidentally?

If accidental seems a long stretch of a coincidence if a meddled with laboratory Chinese bat virus strain was somehow returned back to China.

If deliberate then a bit of an own goal for the originating country the moment it turned into a global pandemic...

that's a few trillion dollars question now we know how damaging a pandemic can be.
Nano technology in medicine has never had an opportunity like this to occupy centre stage.

Dannidl. He reckons a high proportion of the competitors were Laboratory guards. I know, now try saying it out loud without laughing.
No I did not... . But think about it for more than three seconds and you will realise that Armies like to cosset their assets . Such as prize athletes,by giving them duties which allow plenty of gym time.. you know regular work like security detail. You are probably a bit young, but when Elvis Presley was in the US Army.. he was not doing parachute jumps...

Ha.. nice to have someone who is prepared to sift the evidence, it makes a pleasant change, . Yes. The first recorded incidents was mid November ..Ref Guardian newspaper. In the period mid November to mid December the cases were coming at about 1 per day,and it took until mid December to accumulate up to 60 people with similar non normal flu, . When they had realised that there was a problem they looked backwards and 15th November was the first case with what appeared to be consistent symptoms. Remember that 80% of infections will have non hospital level presentation. Young Athletes are typically the types who will recover quickly,so there could be just luck that it didn't breakout in Ottawa or Mumbai

I’m afraid you did say you did it. This is what you said:

Many of these athletes would have served as security details in Government labs ,on every continent.

Regardless, I think it highly unlikely that one of the competitors caused the outbreak.

If the women and children bring back SARS-CoV-2 and infect the men, it probably doesn't make much sense.

Also, it assumes that male children are not more vulnerable than female children. I have no idea - is there any evidence on this question?

I certainly wouldn't buy double-glazing from SAGE.

Public's trust in science at risk, warns former No 10 adviser

Ex-chief scientific adviser sets up rival panel of experts over Covid-19 ‘lack of transparency’
.
.
King cited the government policy on face masks, which he said appeared to be politically convenient, but ran in contradiction to the best available evidence.

“There’s plenty of evidence to indicate that the wearing of face masks is a major help in reducing person-to-person viral transfer,” King said. “This is why it has become so much a part of the culture in South Asia.”

When Austria introduced a requirement to wear face masks in public, the incidence of Covid-19 “just collapsed around that one piece of advice”, he added.

“I wonder whether that decision, apparently by Sage … was driven by the necessity of not requiring it because we don’t have the face masks available in this country,” said King.

“That’s a political issue. My advice would always be that face masks are required and that if we don’t have them, you need to see we acquire them for the people at large.”
