Or members of the Government....trying to evade responsibility, as most of that was quoting them verbatim!
Stop making a simple situation complicated. It’s dead easy:

Stay at home and only leave to buy your snap or to fetch your medicine.

As a bonus, you can go for a stroll if you like, but make sure your back home after an hour.

Got it?

Just found out someone breaking the stay at home rules had an argument with a cop close by where I live, he then made the mistake of showing the cop what he thought of him by pulling a knife out.
Seven month's in the slammer was the result now he has forced isolation.
The copper could have used lethal force, it’s game on when the knife comes out. The cop should have stuck it in the idiots eye and then written him up appropriately. He’d think twice about pulling a knife out again.

With so many contradictory "excuses" being offered to us, what do you believe to be the REAL reason the UK is not in the EU Procurement Scheme?

A government source would say we have to capacity to ignore that, it cant be tested

If you think about it in many countries of the world the cop would have shot him, even in Europe.
Remember that classic Texas Sheriff at an inquest.

Coroner: Why did the dead man have 43 bullet wounds?
Sheriff: I ran out of ammunition

Coroner : Why does your report state he died of Natural Causes?
Sheriff: Well anyone with 43 bullet holes in them naturally dies!

Works for me

Correction I got it long before you did, and so didn't vote for Boris, but to get back to the point. that list is from the governments own words, take it up with them.

don't vote for the Conservatives again, the life it costs you might be your own.

Coronavirus wasn’t caused by a pencil mark on a slip of paper. That’s as mental as setting fire to 5G phone masts. You haven’t been out to torching them have you?

This topic is about the social distancing rules. They are simple to understand. Buckle down and crack on.

I struggle to imagine a bigger cock-up than the mess this government are making of the situation. Then I remember Diane Abbott. Could you imagine her in charge of something at this time?

Starmer is showing a bit of promise.

I’m just listening to Nigel Farage on LBC. He is hosting a phone in regarding ending the lock down. I can’t believe the number of people phoning up to say that we should just abandon the lockdown measures and returns to normal life, it’s crazy.

How about this for a suggestion. Those that want to end the lockdown, that is fine. They can be issued with a certificate which they can show in order to go about their business as normal. In order to gain the certificate, you must first agree that if you contract coronavirus, you will not present at hospital or any other medical institution, and you further agree that you will not receive any medical treatment or assistance whatsoever. That would preserve sufficient medical capacity for those who are prepared to stick with the lockdown rules. That seems fair to me.

Simple to undertand because they are simple, but they became stupidly simple when the government foolishly decided to bring the law into it. The law is never simple, especially when dealing with a complex issue and an almost infinite number of variables among those it applies to.

A number of us including some very distinguished minds have made this same observation, that the issue should have been dealt with on a co-operative basis without recourse to law and silly threats.

That is how it's ended up anyway, since those who wont co-operate are also those who disobey laws. Ergo, the law and its accompanying threats is pointless since it's achieved nothing other than make many angry, public and police.

It seems like an obvious solution. The “peak” that we are supposedly passing is a synthetic one which only exists due to social distancing. If the measures are abandoned we will see a peak which will dwarf what we have just witnessed.

If these idiots parachuted out of a plane, they would take the parachute off before reaching the ground. They’d justify doing so by saying, well the parachute has slowed me down.

The certificate in exchange for waiving any assistance right to medical assistance would be feasible and workable. I think there would be a big take up which would free up plenty of medical capacity for us. It would also prune the lower end of the gene pool satisfactorily too. It could be a big win, I think they should do it.

And I was reminding you
what YOUR GOVERNMENT HAD WRITTEN AS ADVICE
And there is not a chance in a million that Corbyn would not have made a far better job of acting to control this pandemic.
He wasn't financed with Russian money and owned by Hedge fund swindlers like the Tory Party are to this day.

Yes.. and in that you are displaying exactly the same level of intellect as tons of Americans on other websites. My response to you is exactly what I said to them.
That would be fine if you wanted to do rock climbing without ropes or bare Knuckle cage fighting, the only one you kill ,mutilate or injure is yourself ..your choice, your consequences, however the bus driver, your wife, partner, child, mother, father did not sign up to that risk.
There is another way.. and in a very similar population profile Ireland is showing it. More people have recovered here from confirmed CV19 than have died or currently have it. The problem the UK has suffered from is political ineptitude. The key is TESTING

even if the lockdown is maintained until the winter, the second wave is probably unavoidable.
Those who recovered from it have not eliminated it completely from their system. This is unfortunately part of the replication and evolution mechanism of RNA viruses.

Just what would these people do if they start to realise they have covid-19? They won't seek out an empty grave and climb in. They will try to get to hospitals. Or drive suicidally to have a last blast. Or die in their flats, houses, cars. Bodies everywhere. Lovely for someone to have to clean up after.

That will incentivise them to keep the ******* idiots on a short leash.

I’ve just walked over the golf course again and there were 17 people aged between 15 and 18 all mixing together, deck chairs, music, booze. I was going to call the police again, but I thought no, let the fuckers take the virus back to their home and kill / make their parents seriously ill and probably take granny & grandpa out too. Their parents are being ***** by not controlling them. They deserve what’s heading their way. Maybe if a few are lost in this way the massage will penetrate.
