I'm surprised the government hasn't asked companies if they can supply crematoria ovens!Should be in the same mass graves as everyone else.

Yes, I agree now you’ve pointed it out. This Coronavirus highlights how important it is to feel that here is something there for everyone, if they need it.Why didn't you read it?
"Charging for treatment , not limited to where there's a high number of Coronavirus cases"
That is clear enough for anybody
I agree, they would love to change to the French system where the social security covers those who cannot afford to pay for the treatment, rather than everyone.I suspect it is in the quote .. "charging for treatment " , not confined to corona
That has to be the worst Boris lie of all that he would protect the NHS, this Monty Python sketch sums up their attitudeI suspect it is in the quote .. "charging for treatment " , not confined to corona
Things are getting bad in Clifton near Nottingham, so bad in fact that Oxfam has launched this appeal:Why didn't you read it?

Well illustrated, and not sure there`s any cure....another pandemic eating into society in this countryThings are getting bad in Clifton near Nottingham, so bad in fact that Oxfam has launched this appeal:
Give generously!
It could, of course, be an English comprehension failure. If the person doesn't get the difference between length and width. I often find the meanings of height, width, depth, etc., mis-stated/mis-interpreted.The lack of familiarity with metric measures in this country continues to amaze me after so many years of metric use.
I've just heard a woman newsreader on BBC Radio 4 say:
"two metres, the length of a car"
That is wildly misleading in the current circumstances.
Of course 2 metres is more like the width of most cars across the door mirrors, most cars are nearer to 4 metres long, often more.

I still do some of the usual things: go to the post office, to the supermarkets (I have a face mask) but we did cross the street to walk on the other side when we see other pedetrians approaching.Or is anyone doing that making it look as if we can go anywhere, do anything?
somehow, 80 F seems hotter than 27 C and zero C colder than 32 F.And the way they perpetuate Fahrenheit. Somehow, it is not hot at 27C but is at 80F so summer temperatures are almost always converted. But they almost never mention freezing point, 32F.
she may mean one of these
No, she's just corrected herself after the Beeb received a number of phone calls. She really had meant length and there was no doubting it when I heard her.It could, of course, be an English comprehension failure. If the person doesn't get the difference between length and width. I think the problem here is the USA sticking to Fahrenheit, we so often see that usage online. Looking a Met Office records can also keep Fahrenheit alive.somehow, 80 F seems hotter than 27 C and zero C colder than 32 F.
must be our secret desire to make a bigger impression.
I tried to get a disposable face mask from Screwfix where they state on the website that they are limiting to five items per person.I still do some of the usual things: go to the post office, to the supermarkets (I have a face mask) but we did cross the street to walk on the other side when we see other pedetrians approaching.
I think it is extremely reasonable to get out onto beaches or mountain paths .. just away from others. The attitude being displayed is just crazy and absurd. Likewise the closing of sports grounds, and streets . There is nothing wrong with kids out playing or cycling .. just not in packs. Is it reasonable, or not, to hop into the car and drive a few miles to a quiet car park overlooking the sea? Park well away from any other vehicles.
Only even considering getting out if no-one else is around.
Or is anyone doing that making it look as if we can go anywhere, do anything?
We did go - and the sea was incredibly calm.I think it is extremely reasonable to get out onto beaches or mountain paths .. just away from others. Very disturbing is the decision of McDonald's and Subway to close from tonight. I understand the reason to stop admittance into the building, but the takeaway food could and should be available. It just requires protection for the cashier, and this can be achieved using a fan. What is being missed in this is that emergency services need these. Nurses coming off duty, Police on 12 hr shifts , Lorry drivers
