The propaganda machine hits high gear with this one in the Express.#
Disaster for Brussels as study predicts EU’s share of world trade to collapse
THE SHARE of world trade occupied by EU member states is to collapse in the coming decades according to a new study in a dramatic blow to Brussels.

Since we are leaving the EU and a much smaller entity and therefore more vulnerable than they are to shifts in trading patterns, you have to wonder just how thick you have to be to think that this will benefit this country
But then look at the audience the propaganda is aimed at, and what they swallowed in the past

I’ll just say that this behaviour is almost exclusively associated with one particular ethnic group.
Exactly, as I also said, a tiny proportion are at risk and I don't care about the massaged statistics because they don't relate to my virtually zero risk, or yours.

In stabbing, the offenders and victims are virtually all part of the same social groups.

It follows that those of us who are not offenders won't be victims.

Fast forward 20 years, the EU would be carbon neutral. Would the UK also be carbon neutral?
Tricky one. The UK has been making good progress, but i think that's likely to falter.

The EU as ever has widely varying countries. Some will easily achieve it, others will be very much behind.

A rhetorical question for you
What does a fascist government do as a first priority when assuming power
Answer: nobble the independent judiciary.
Why is this relevant?
On the news just now
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-50933535
Michael Howard: Judges sometimes 'distort' the law to reach result they want
Then he displayed his ignorance
Lord Howard questioned whether unelected judges should make the law.
They don't, they simply interpret it.
The prime minister has previously hinted at US-style confirmation hearings for Supreme Court justices, suggesting they should be subject to "some form of accountability".

And someone actually voted for these people to get into power?
So they can rig justice to their own ends?

And the gaffe of the day has to be the publishing online of the Honours list complete with names and addresses on the web before being taken down.
BRILLIANT!!!
The official stance is "It was only up for an hour!
Has the pillock who came up with that statement never heard of the internet Archive? where every page that as ever existed is there for as long as the Archive survives?
This from Wikipedia

"The Internet Archive allows the public to upload and download digital material to its data cluster, but the bulk of its data is collected automatically by its web crawlers, which work to preserve as much of the public web as possible. Its web archive, the Wayback Machine, contains hundreds of billions of web captures "

I wonder whether this was just the usual incompetence or Cummings has trodden on some toes in the Civil Service?

That situation is even a lot more critical in the UK than in the USA or Poland or elsewhere. These countries have Constitutional Protection. ,The UK has none. What you have are conventions ..such as the one that Judicature is Independent.

Scaredy-cat! :)

The grim reaper will get you in the end, there's no escape.

My attitude is that life has no fixed term, every life however short or long is still a whole life. Accordingly my philosophy on life and death which I'd worked out by the time I was 20 has been expressed in this simple sentence ever since:

"I'm ready to die at any time, even before the end of this sentence".

What is interesting is that we might have expected a quiet period in the usual "rags" after the election , but the anti EU and remainer propaganda is still pouring out.
They seem to be worried that people lose enthusiasm and stop supporting the cause.
And making promises that they will honour promises that according the them there wasn't money available for when Corbyn proposed them before the election.

Thank you chaps.

It's been very chaotic. We had the worst move ever. It really was bad.

I will bore you all with it once it's resolved.

Now I have the birth of our little girl on the 6th.

It's been the most condensed period of my life ever but hopefully it will all be worth it

The really sweet and nice party:

Britain First says 5,000 of its members have joined Tories
Far-right defectors ‘support Boris Johnson’s stance on radical Islam’

Further down, it says:

Simon said Britain First members wanted to form a movement of far-right activists within the Conservative party that would back Johnson in the same way supporters of Momentum joined Labour to solidify Jeremy Corbyn’s grip on the party.

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2019/dec/28/britain-first-far-right-members-5000-have-joined-tories

We can hope that they have the same effect on the tories that Momentum appear to have had on Labour.
