See Eraldo Paulescu's research (he knows more about dyslexia on a bad day than all of us on the thread together)
The fact that those most supportive about dyslexia run schools that successfully teach dyslexia out of people is proof enough of my case.

I'm not saying there is no such thing as many children having much greater difficulty with words. I know at first hand there are. I am saying it is almost entirely correctable with better education and discipline.

And what goes for dyslexia also applies to another largely imaginary condition, dyscalculia. Today's medicine holds that is due to a brain disorder, in which case I must be a medical genius since I've easily taught it completely out of children written off at schools as hopelessly unteachable with maths.

The sooner all countries in the world accept that, the better. It's inexorably happening anyway so as the saying goes, resistance is futile.
all the more reason to resist this form of assimilation and monoculture.

That’s rubbish and it’s irrelevant to what is being discussed. You are just quoting an alternative unique word for a unique word which already exists in English. And besides, Octal already has an English meaning, it’s a base 8 counting system.

The inescapable fact is that the French language does not have as many words as the English language. Fact. Therefore it cannot be as rich, creative and as expressive as English.

If you go into a French restaurant and ask for a serviette, you don’t know if you’ll get a napkin or briefcase dumped into your lap. That’s how short on words they are.

Again, this boils down to your references. Perhaps compared to the school you attended, mathematics is more advanced in France.
And what is Octal except group of 8.

FIRE SALE EVERYTHING MUST GO.

Boris Johnson has defended the controversial £4bn takeover of UK defence and aerospace company Cobham by a US private equity firm.

World leaders in air to air refuelling technology. Gone.
Some of you seem to not quite grasp this thing called capitalism - the most successful and flexible economic system ever. It's about the allocation of resources. This is how comes it is so popular. And one part - this part you're talking about - is when your allocation of resources is not being successful - you go bust! No sh**. And in this way - resources are handed to others who can allocate them better. You can tell if its working because when its not you make a loss and when its working you make a profit. So simple.

I’m sure that was a riveting experience for all who came into contact with you.

Did you take your own cleaning materials or were they supplied?

Suck it in. It's called democracy. You'll get used to it.
Nothing to do with democracy, but a great deal to do with manipulating the gullible into voting to disadvantage themselves.
Try "Abusing the Democratic process" and not the first European country to fall for it.

it's octet, plural octets and also mega-octet(s).
It's an SI unit, same word exists in English.
We French use the correct SI units in common spoken language for added precision.

Nazi! Take your 'shoulds' and - well you can imagine.
Understandably you didn't want your soiled goods getting his backside kicked by a man who sacked him for lying just before the election would you?
That would have been "Democracy working" in the true definition, not your version where "Democracy working" is sticking to the party propaganda, pretending that Johno is anything more than a puppet of a rather lower class than Ray Alan's Lord Charles.
He was told of in Parliament for fiddling with his phone.
No doubt the organ Grinder on the other end of the line.
