I think Johnson is a liberal Tory at heart. Now he has a large 80 seat majority, he can put The ERG in a box and put a brick on the lid.
He describes himself as a "one nation conservative"
There way be a clue in the fact he was born in New York, and you are forgetting Cummings runs the show, Boris is just the muppet.

A little german fella did too remember?
Still your MAGA campaign will benefit as did this dealer in substances harmful to humans
"
Wetherspoons boss Tim Martin left £44m richer after Boris Johnson victory
The Brexiteer pub chain boss - who appeared with Boris Johnson on the campaign trail - was one of several to benefit from a stock market boost thanks to his massive personal shareholding

In 2017, a total of 7,697 people died from alcohol-specific causes in the UK, equivalent to 12.2 deaths per 100,000 population. The latest figure is the highest rate since 2008 when the rate was recorded as 12.7 alcohol-specific deaths per 100,000
And of course
Crime. In 2015/16 in England, victims believed the offender(s) to be under the influence of alcohol in 39% of all violent incidents. ... In 2016/17 in England and Wales, 12.4% of theft offences, 20.6% of criminal damage and 21.5% of hate crimes were alcohol-related

A great start for Boris and his promise to make this country the best in the world to live in.
Pity that it's only for the 1%
Lets introduce prohibition then.???
Rather a silly grumble OG. Anybody with any investments listed on stock market will have made money... On paper.
Likewise for the better exchange rate today
You moan when pound (and FTSE) go down and then moan when it goes up.
Perpetual moaning.

Threaten the EU?
As it hit me again and I'll bleed all over you?

What a comic, when the last time Boris went to negotiate, he came back with a deal that TM had already rejected and won't work anyway!
And even worse he doesn't understand what he has agreed to!
They had him for Breakfast.

Just pointing out the reality that you keep denying Brexit is for this class of people not the public.
Not a silly grumble at all profit for the rich is what drives Brexit

Johnson is pretty useless as a practitioner, but I believe he has an eye for talented and capable people. That skill will be very useful to him.

This made me laugh it was so untrue! When he became London mayor all his early appointments failed spectacularly. Three were quickly exposed as criminals, prompting me to post that it indicates the sort of company he keeps.

I’m pleased to have brightened your day.:)

I don’t know, he’s surrounded himself with a team that has delivered him a huge majority in the GE. Corbyn did give him a leg up though.

He was almost bound to win. As I've posted elsewhere, while the SNP deprive Labour of their one time Scottish electoral dominance, they can never overcome the Tory south of England majorities, regardless of who leads them.

It didn’t work for TM. Same circumstances, different team, different outcome.
