I'm not a fan of AF Neil, but he came out with rather a telling line
"“But the prime minister of our nation will, at times, have to stand up to President Trump, President Putin, President Xi of China. So we’re surely not expecting too much if he spent half an hour standing up to me.”

Yes, I admire O Leary and much as I have used Ryanair asca source of humour in reality they offer a fantastic service at incredible prices. Used them loads. Flown to Carcassonne dozens of times, regularly for £20. How can you knock that.(Ryanair dont do Madeira)
Wind has picked up here. Airport closed. Every cloud though. Will be windsurfing again.
Think you have caught a touch of the OGs. Cheer up fingers. Life's fine. Enjoy it.
‘Ryan Air is great. You can catch a flight like catching a bus. The planes can be full of fat tattooed women who are marinated in gin, and puce faced larger sodden men who shout a lot (I think we call them “The disadvantaged?”). You just dial them out for a couple of hours or pay 10X the Ryan Air flight cost to escape them.

Their employment practices aren’t good though.

A lot depends where you are flying to and from. Group to Carcassonne tend to be older retirees going to "their place in France". Generally very quiet. Had misfortune to have to use service from Barcelona(Girona) back to I think Glagow. At check in two rather large ladies literally had a fight with a policeman after refusing to extinguish their cigs. Was pandemonium. Police came back in force and arrested 5 people.
Was once flying out to Carcassonne with brother in law. He started moaning, pretentious chap he is, about delay and whatever. He was on about demanding his fare back. I went in my pocket and gave him £6.99,told him to now shut the feck up. I knew he, d only paid that.
Folk want Virgin Atlantic service for O Leary prices.
And I totally agreed with him about charging to use toilet. Lots fall in one of two groups. First cant be arsed to use toilet before boarding and then cant go 90 mins without peeing themselves. Second like to down 4 pints before boarding. Charge the silly feckers £10 to use toilet.

What’s the point of Johnson doing this interview with Andrew Neil? All he will do is expose Boris Johnson as a liar. We already know he’s a liar, so nothing new will come out of the interview. Those who are going to vote for Johnson don’t care that he’s a liar, so the whole exercise is completely pointless. Plus he’s going to win the GE anyway.

I can fully appreciate that a tory like you wouldnt want your, your party's and your glorious leader's ethics (or complete banal lack of it) on full national display just before the election. I hope it (or the ongoing embarrassment of johnson hiding from it) becomes the issue it deserves to be.

He doesn’t NEED that much money. Many of his members live on less than 1/5 of that amount. Why not give up some of the £140 K in the true spirit of sharing wealth? Oh, I forgot, when it comes to it, he’s inherently a greedy bastard, like most other humans.
Once again you seem to be advocating communism, a strange position for a Tory. People should be paid commensurate with their job in a free society.

Socialism isn't an individual effort, it's method of governance of a society, and under it McCluskey would give through taxation what the government set. Individual charity in addition is a different matter and you have no idea what McCluskey gives so no right to comment as you've done.

It doesn’t matter. Everyone knows Johnson is a liar and nobody cares anymore.

Johnson is still saying that in the event of Brexit on the basis of his deal, there will be no Irish Sea border. HMRC have stated categorically that there will be. There has to be, but still Johnson lies and says there won’t. So who cares? Nobody anymore.

There is no requirement to provide any further evidence of Johnson’s lies. So tell me, what’s the point of putting my “glorious leader’s” lack of ethics on full national display?

I know but it's still a matter of mild amusement each time Bojo comes out with another 'message', amusement mixed with despondency that this incredible country could go as low as having to choose between Bojo and Corbyn.
On Preston's show, Bojo was saying we'll be out of the EU after Jan 2020 and people will stop talking about brexit!
You can guess Preston's reaction.

It's just interestung to see the folk that care about others and you.

I can’t even begin to pick any statement, information or question out of that. It makes no sense at all. There isn’t anything there.

Are you experiencing another London Bridge moment?

edit: I’ve not been to the Rotary Club, I’m still on Puff Daddy’s yacht discussing what a **** you are. We have a great deal of supporting material and evidence that you are a **** to get through.

I'm sure JC will be made most welcome. Unfortunately, it is already full so I shan't have the chance to attend.

Jeremy Corbyn Rally Event in Haverfordwest

Tomorrow

Jeremy Corbyn will be in Haverfordwest to talk about how we win a better society, and we hope you can join him.

This election is a once in a generation chance for us. Together we can reverse a decade of austerity. Take power from the billionaires, the bad bosses and the big polluters and give it to workers, young people, communities and everyone the Tories have failed for so long.

We’re coming together to make our voices heard in Haverford West this weekend. This is about getting together, being inspired, and making a difference in the final week.

Places are limited, so register now! Can you make it this Saturday?

Please note the location of the rally will be emailed out to all those who register to attend, and the email will need to be shown on the door.

Saturday 7th December 5:30pm - 7:00pm

Haverfordwest, Haverfordwest SA61 2LZ

Event is full

To reinforce the point in people's mind that they are voting for a villain.
You may not care, but I do.

I'm afraid you are in a minority. Johnson’s supporters applaud the lies, they love them because it winds up people like you who have principles. That’s the level to which politics has sunk. As a nation, we deserve Johnson, the Tory Party, and Brexit and we are going to get all three. Nobody cares. And then, after 18 months, the Johnson supporters won't be happy anymore and they will start care about the lies they have been told, and we can show them sympathy by donating to their local food bank.

This is largely true, but the election outcome isn't necessarily a foregone conclusion. Remember how the consensus in 2017 was that Theresa May would substantially increase her slim majority, she, the party, all the pundits and much of the wider public felt sure of that. Instead the opposite happened and her small majority was wiped out.

Today's circumstances are very similar in all respects, so I'm not predicting anything.

That bit of moral relativism say lots about you and your alleged profession. But it doesnt wash. We will be affected. We may think our relative affluence protects us from the post brexit catastrophe. It does not, ethics, profoundly define our lives, from the care we'll receive when were doddering to the cancer we'll get prematurely from junk we'll eat as a result of loss of standards. Average life expectancy in the us is 78, as opposed to our 82 despite the US's far greater per capita income. You and 50 are identical, seeing financial advantage in brexit and not caring about the consequences for others. Youre both too myopic to realize you're destroying your own realities.

I can lead a donkey (you) to water but I can't make it drink.

I can also tell the blue rinse brigade at the W.I absolutely adore you're utterly mischievous wit.

Such a charmer!

I can just hear them now ' you must meet the turd. he is a scream! '

What a life you must lead.

A dyed in the wool tory with communist ideals.

No wonder you come across as someone so easily persuaded you would follow what a bus sign tells you to do.

Agreed.

Speaking of it as if the result is already in can itself have numerous effects.

Some might not bother to vote because the result is already decided. That could work either way. I'd be happy if tories assume they are going be elected so don't bother to vote. I'd be unhappy if non-tories don't bother to vote. But, overall, a high turnout is my preference.

Boris the Bullshitter came to sunny Colchester to support my MP (one with look of concern/bemusement).

Boris doesn't look well but quite good if looking at him from the perspective of Madame Tussauds - wonder if the near constant campaigning and lying for months on end is taking its toll.

Maybe he needs a helping hand from Trump's styling team...
