The Telegraph seems to take the public as fools with this rubbish
"
The Kremlin has fuelled the growing row around leaked government documents published by Labour as it failed to deny the involvement of Russian hackers.
Senior MPs have called for an urgent investigation into how Labour obtained the classified information amid growing evidence linking the leak to Moscow.
Jeremy Corbyn hinted yesterday that he had downloaded minutes of US-UK trade talks from a website where investigators increasingly believe it had been placed by Russia.
The Kremlin failed to deny being behind the leak yesterday as it used the row to mock Boris Johnson by suggesting it was..."

Lets see what we have here.

A denial from the Kremlin which means nothing
No denial that the documents are genuine, in fact confirmation that they contain "classified information"
Which means everything!

Struggling hardly decribes the position the Conservatives and their supporters are in to use this ploy!

A titbit from the Daily Mail indicates how wishful thinking is creeping in
" Mr Corbyn (inset on This Morning on Tuesday) has been dealt today after the President killed his main election attack line by flatly dismissing the idea he wants a post-Brexit trade deal to open the health service to American companies "

Who on Earth would be stupid enough to believe that Trump is telling the truth?

No, of course he was telling the truth. He was lying when, back in June, he said:

But speaking at a press conference alongside Theresa May on the second day of his state visit to the UK, the president said: “I think everything with the trade deal is on the table. When you’re dealing in trade everything’s on the table, so NHS or anything else or a lot more than that but everything will be on the table, absolutely."

Perhaps the issue was the platter?

"If you handed it to us on a silver platter, we want nothing to do with it."

We all know that Trump is ostentatious and would want a gold platter. (Or a takeway box.)

You couldn't write Comedy Noir as bad as this
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/health/nhs-privatisation-donations-matt-hancock-health-secretary-institute-economic-affairs-a8442001.html
"
New health secretary Matt Hancock received £32,000 in donations from chair of think tank that wants NHS 'abolished'

Matt Hancock received nine donations between £2,000 and £4,000 from businessman who heads board of free market group, the Institute of Economic Affairs"

Time these Conservative faced justice.
And definitely time Gangsters, swindlers and plotters were no longer calling themselves "Think tanks" and "Institutes"

It takes some beating, but maybe Christmas 1940 and 1941 when so much was looking grim for us as we were losing the war.
.
it may be a good XMAS for remainers.
Conservatives lead over Labour is narrowing.
It's currently at 9% (Con: 42%, Lab: 33%).
anything under 8% lead will likely lead to a hung parliament which means second referendum.
The Pound is unusually stronger than expected, pointing to diminishing risk of no deal brexit.

It would have been a much better Christmas if brexit had never been launched or had been clearly cancelled.

Can there really be anyone left who has not been denigrated, insulted, or what have you by our dearly unbeloved PM?

Boris Johnson made claims that children of working mothers in low-income families were “unloved and undisciplined” and more likely to “mug you on the street corner”, it has emerged.

In a 2006 collection of journalism, entitled Have I Got Views for You, Johnson bemoaned the increasing tendency of women to work, saying they had been “socially gestapoed into the workplace”.

“In the last 30 years an ever-growing proportion of British women have been ‘incentivised’ or socially gestapoed into the workplace, on what seems to me to be the dubious assumption that the harder a woman works the happier she will be, when I am not sure that is true of women or anyone else,” he wrote.

There is a certain reassurance in the knowledge that there is actually and even bigger fool out there than BJ
The snag is all the other leaders treat him as one. This is not what is expected from the leader of the USA
From the Independent.

Of course there are some who will regard the following as fake news
"
Thirty-four per cent of the prime minister's 1.25 million Twitter followers were found to be fake accounts or bots - the highest of a current party leader out of all the main UK parties.

This puts his real follower count somewhere around 825,000.

Just behind him on the list is Nigel Farage, of whose followers 32% are fakes.

The research comes at a time when Twitter has banned political advertising and organic reach is key to the digital campaign battleground.

OPINION: Don't fall for Boris Johnson's Twitter trap

The leader with the most authentic Twitter base is Jeremy Corbyn, 81% of whose 2.2 million followers are real users of the social media platform - leaving him with a healthy 1.78 million real people signed up for his tweets.

The truth is out there, not so much somewhere, as perhaps somewhen in the future.

Trump will have made a few more fans here
"
A Ryanair flight was forced to divert to an airport 120 miles away after the skies were cleared for Donald Trump's official plane.
The US President was leaving the UK early after Nato leaders seemingly "gossiped " about him during a reception at Buckingham Palace.
He was seen landing at Stansted on board his helicopter, Marine One, at around 5.15pm and took off inside Air Force One shortly afterwards.
The Ryanair flight from Lisbon should have landed at Stansted at around 5:30pm, but was instead diverted to East Midlands Airport - 120 miles away.
It then took off once again and eventually landed at its intended destination at around 7.50pm - more than two hours late.

Millions of families will get a £200 tax cut within weeks of Tories being elected, Boris Johnson pledges

first lie of the day
Even if the legislative side were passed immediately, I can't see it arriving in everyone's pockets within weeks.

Aha! I see a February budget is being claimed (promised? threatened?) So that means a couple of months before they can start making any changes.

Just over a year ago:

Welfare cuts to come include a £1.5bn benefit freeze next April that will mean a £200 loss to a couple with children in the bottom half of the income distribution.

If we assume that the tax cut is targetted at those families, it might help to recover the situation for some of them.
