Rumour of Bojo's new ploy:

call an election, name a date, then change the date to later by proclammation.
The new date will be after 31st October!

I hate the idea, but he’s going to be getting my vote after today’s announcement by Labour. Johnson and a hard Brexit will be slightly less damaging than Corby playing Sim City (Special 20th Anniversary Communist Edition) with the country.

Oh not again, what are you taking about?
Corbyn isn't an actual or even potential threat whereas Bojo is a 100% menace.
So now you want to vote for him?
On your own head be it!

I can’t get past the confiscation of people’s houses and share certificates.

I detest Johnson, everything about him and all that he stands for. But he’s still a better option than a Corbyn Labour government.

Ah! I think I've found it , is this what you mean?
In the Daily Mail
"
Millions of private tenants could be given the chance to buy their rented home at a discounted price under a radical ‘right to buy’ scheme if Labour wins the next election, the party said. Shadow chancellor John McDonnell said Labour wants to make it easier for workers to buy the home they live in while tackling the ‘burgeoning buy-to-let market’. He added that the party wants to target landlords who let their properties fall into disrepair at the expense of their tenants and the community. In an interview with the Financial Times, Mr McDonnell set out a loose idea for the scheme, suggesting that the sum paid by tenants hoping to own would not necessarily be the market price. He said: ‘You’d want to establish what is a reasonable price, you can establish that and then that becomes the right to buy. You (the government) set the criteria. I don’t think it’s complicated.’ The British politician added that the policy, first suggested by Jeremy Corbyn during his 2015 bid for leadership, would be a way of stopping landlords making a ‘fast buck’ at the cost of their tenants.

This is old stuff and pie in the sky
And there was this too
"
In his interview, Mr McDonnell also revealed Labour’s plans for a share transferal proposal, under which the government would confiscate £300 billion of shares in 7,000 large companies and give them to the workers.

Are the shares to come from private individuals?

I must congratulate them on a sterling attempt to not get elected, cracking stuff!

What a situation. the whole political system in this country has gone bananas.
We need a new section on the voting forms that reads
None of the Above and they should be banned for life from ever standing for public office again

Idle thought time:
The last person I knew who got a Jack Russell ended up with a viciously bitten nose...

(Mind, we all know this is for political ends, not emotional attachment to canines.)

the companies can issue new shares to their workers.
The effect is still the same, dilution of shareholders value.
Labour could have gone the traditional way, charge large companies a special levy (like one off windfall tax of 10%).
You can see where it's going. France tried something similar years ago in 1989, it was called "impôt sur les grandes fortunes (IGF) - since renamed "Impôt sur la fortune immobilière" - however, the rate is about 1%.
JC's 10% rate smacks of communist confiscation and redistribution.

This is the sort of plan I would pull if in Corbyns position, pretending to be all for an election but leaving no tern unstoned as the Twitchers might say to ensure he doesn't get elected.
Then when Brexit goes belly up suddenly coming out with acceptable policies.

Alternatively of course it could be a case that he is as much off his head as Boris.
After all what is the point of Boris threatening his own MPs over a threat that the EU regard as derisory anyway?
He might as well keep them onside since it won't make any difference.

Ah well if nothing else we have provided the rest of the world with the opportunity to laugh at the expense of the one time World super power reduced to being offered as sold as seen, or suitable for spares, on a "no reasonable offer refused " basis in the equivalent of an international car boot sale.
And no matter what happens Moggy's precious Tax dodging will be protected.
