Yes, of course, we'd all like to know.

The crap that is pouring out of government mouths - all the issues have been sorted in just four weeks of BJ. And Gove saying this is the worst scenario - but just what prevents it being reality?

And if it is that bad, will BJ and his mates volunteer to be transported to any (non-EU) country that would take him? Just how bad does it have to be before they admit they screwed it and us up?

It seems it wa Hammond according to well placed sources but that’s not really news it’s in the Mail too.

The crap that is pouring as you so elegantly put it is necessary to apply the pressure required for the EU to come back to the table.

Under May she would say something then 20 mins later the press would be briefed the complete opposite. It not only gave the EU the impression, correctly, that May was clueless it also confused them. Our European cousins like to be more direct and don’t do nuance in politics like we do. Or generally in fact.

Let’s see if he can get something moving this week or even at the G8 in a few weeks time.

Your last paragraph makes you sound like Gerald and as a consequence it shall be ignored.

Fingers.. you are no different from the rest,,you all believe this propaganda that the EU will fold,. How could you think otherwise all your media is saying so. But its not going to. . If the UK takes a deal it will basically be the one from 18 months ago.. maybe with the Backstop limited to NI.

The EU won’t fold. No one is expecting that. But we will not be treated on the same equivalent as say the likes of Ireland.

If that’s the case we walk.

If the EU and France want to try and use the ports as some sort of revenge? Punishment? I’m sure we can work a way round this.

Christ. Qatar did it. And they have one port. we have hundreds. Countries will want to get on board and trade once we leave have no fear. Believe it or not we do have friends in the world.

I worry it’s you that is buying the propaganda. I still maintain nothing much will change.

The EU will cede some frills. The pound will bounce up. Brexit people will say see. Then something will happen and the pound will dip and remainists will cry the end of the world is coming.

Rinse and repeat.

Ireland may suffer but end of the day you only have your pm to blame. It would have been nice to have a friend but your lot chose the path of most resistance.

By an idiot who hasn't the faintest idea why he supports Brexit, apart from the act he can't bear the idea he was made a fool of by the very thing he makes for a living.
propaganda.
That's why he comes on here, is isn't interested in finding a solution, he is in fact part of the problem.
And today predictably the target for tonight is Hammond, guilt is optional as the Kangaroo court sat yesterday.
Frankly it wouldn't surprise me if Gove was the culprit.

Boris will as predicted achieve the same deal May did with a different "New and improved" wrapper.
What this country needs is a "Backstop" surrounding the criminals who purloined the Referendum result. before they do further damage.

Funny how people, like you, seem to believe that. Yet not some of the very clear evidence of harm from brexit. "Well placed" sources - but unidentified.

Unless and until there is evidence as to who leaked, I'll reserve my judgement.

So now the best that can be hoped from Brexit is things struggle along with no improvement in sight?
Tell me what kind of an idiot thinks that is a result worth having when they voted for all the glorious things Brexit promised to bring and Boris promises a glorious future?

Rinse and repeat?

How often before the process washes out the false expectations from the stupid?
Then what remains.
Anger and resentment and big trouble

Why are we walking anywhere when we are already at the best destination?
no, we are not.
I live in Southend for the best part of 40 odd years and I have seen the changes, some good, most bad.
we can do better.

And I have seen huge improvements over that time, so where are your improvements going to come from?

Who is going to make them things better? and why should they when it will be so easy to bully the plebs?
Any progress made in living conditions will now be reversed with Brexit used as an excuse (on a temporary/permanent basis)
We will be back to square one.
Answer... nobody all we are faced with is things going downhill into trouble as the country is run by incompetents with no one to get them out of any mess they make.
All they will set out to do is make profit by asset stripping.

follow Norway.
Take the good bit (about 72% of Norwegian law come from the EU) out of the EU regulatory system and single market and top it up with their own.

I'll buy it, what is your point?
if you imagine we go round in circles in the EU, then ask yourself why is that happening? and the answer is the Government is simply there to milk the system, not act as a full member.
If it did we would get more benefits way beyond any we get when out of the EU
Act as a full member ?? It was sold to us as a trading block....Can we claim our money back like mis sold PPI ?

the key moment of changeover was the Maastricht treaty and the sign all is not well was when John Major lost at the first reading.
Before that, the EC was just what was sold.
