That’s nuts, but in a good, comedy sort of way.

The Brits are in Room 503, be sure to fit sheets with a Nylon content > 70%. And don’t forget, they dine at Table 4, so use the cheap meat and canned vegetable produce.

I love it, do you have anymore material which has similar comedy value?

He does!

He’s like Jimmy Cricket.

You are not being sensible.. The major travel companies arrange with hotels block bookings in the Autumn and Winter months and the market areas they will operate in . So the hotels serving fresh fruit salads will pitch their product at price points which will be unattractive to very cash strapped tourists.
For brilliant right wing capitalists, yourself and Fingers are being rather dim. Now the hoteliers on Ibitza are also capitalists but are not dim.

I’m afraid the industry has moved on a bit Dan.

Only old folk and morons book with package holiday companies these days. Every week you hear of these companies going bust. It was 2 last week.

The model has changed. The internet and your mate from Ryan air saw to this some years ago.

What you get these days is deals with airlines if you want that model but I can assure you the hotel will not differentiate between nationalities.

If ever you are going away give me a shout and I will get you an amazing deal. I have a special relationship with bookings.com.

The assumption being they didn't need to reduce their prices because Brits are not their main customers?
So why have they reduced their prices? sudden out break of generosity?
As you say
That's nuts!

The Express appear to have gone mad
"
EU finally faces music: Brussels admits ‘no alternative’ to no deal fate
EU chiefs are now in “full no-deal Brexit preparation” after giving up on Boris Johnson’s ability to deliver an agreement, Brussels sources have revealed. The Prime Minister’s plan to scrap the controversial Irish backstop has all but ended hopes of a deal being reached ahead of October 31.

What planet are they on?
And their readers comments are no better

"The EU are clearly trying to get their excuses in early for why they failed to get a deal and place the blame on the UK. It is really beyond belief that they talk about the UK having no intention to negotiate when they have refused all negotiation. So long and we are not paying the extortion money either.
........................................
Here is another classic
"“Tesco and Waitrose will have to start diversifying their imports”. In so far as I am aware, they do not sell European cars. "

They can go to Bridlington and enjoy the ambience, sun and clean sea.
Then why did people choose holidays in Spain instead?
And by the way the sea at Bridlington is often brown with mud from the cliffs eroding down to Spurn head, not exactly sparking like the med.

You are forgetting the outfall pipe in middle of Brid beach, its not just the eroding cliffs from Filey making sea brown but Med is most poluted sea on planet, and its virtually closed, small inlet at Tarifa/Algerceris to Atlantic which makes matters worse. Plus tides are almost non existent on med, so it might be sparking (your word) but more with plastic bags than crytal clear blue water.
You missed the point.
BTW a family holiday to Brid is dearer than going to Spain... Even with poor exchange rate. Look at hotel /cottage hire prices in Brid. Ridiculous.

And I thought we were on about the hoteliers of Majorca, in this scion, not British holidaymakers.
Just another example of the evasion and smoke screen tactics leave voters use to derail discussion of the negative effects of Brexit.
After all what else can they do?
They simply can't own up to the fact they were wrong to vote for it, or accept any responsibility for the all too obvious damage their decision caused.

No I didn't miss the point at all you simply pointed out the obvious reason people go to Spain as it's cheaper than Brid and that outfall pipe which carries both land drainage and sewage is being extended

So if we leave with no deal will the EU immediately force a hard border on Ireland (I'll give you a clue, will they bullocks) proving that a backstop was never needed.

Staying somewhere inexpensive it seems and hitching instead of using taxis. ;)

Using taxis is a barometer of being on holiday?

Taxis are dirt cheap in all those places mentioned anyway. The biggest rip off is the transfer from the airport's if you're daft enough to pay it.

I don't think anyone will put up any border posts anytime soon but that does not mean WTO brexit won't have huge impact on NI and ROI. Until now, they can trade tariff free and to a large extent, with little paperwork. From November 1st, all businesses involved in cross border trade with the EU will have huge admin problems.
I give you an example:
I have a customer in Jersey, Channel Island. He needs to send a part back to us today.
Guess how many forms I have to fill in on his behalf: 3 forms, properly signed, letterhead etc, stamps, recorded delivery, dig out the original customs declaration when we imported the part from China, pay Condor Ferries their admin fees etc.
Same again when we send him the replacement part.
Who would want to sell to EU customers after brexit?
Would customers in the EU want to buy from us?

Just imagine you will have to do the same to send a part from Belfast to Dublin and vice versa.
