Or maybe the Guardian has an agender? Maybe people have grown away from the sickly sweet artificial 'soft ice cream' they sell at ridiculous prices? Or maybe Brexit really is responsible for killing off the paperboy, the milkman, the shoeshiner, tv repair man and chimney sweep.

I see that Jeremy has now made a sort of decision on going for a second referendum after being told by his union paymasters what to do. I don't recollect them being elected by anyone, but then again it won't be the first time they have run the country. And you then have the ridiculous situation where Labour are whingeing about BJ being made PM because it is not democratic. So a choice. Have a country run by BJ and Conservatives or one run by Unison and JC

Like very many people I no longer carry cash, so that factor alone is much more likely than Brexit to account for lost ice cream van sales. It's also seriously dented charity collections.

I shudder to think where the exchange rate will be in a couple of weeks when BJ becomes our next PM.

Labour now officially backs a second referendum but JC still could not let go of that fence.
Officially, Labour only backs remain if BJ takes us out on a no deal brexit.
If Labour forms the next government, Labour still wants to renegotiate May's deal and get on with brexit.
If remainers want to reverse brexit, they have to keep both tories and Labour out of power.
I wonder if JC does not want to become the future PM.
His tactic is apparently to vote for the Withdrawal Agreement next time then table an amendment to ask for a second referendum.

I think JC has about as much chance of becoming our PM one day as I have of winning the Lottery, and I don't even do the Lottery.

Only to an idiot. Our misfortune is that we have so many of them.
In their arrogance they imagine themselves wise, when they are simply greedy and selfish, working against the common interest they form themselves into squalid groups of plotters bought and paid for by dodgy donors.

And how do they operate? let's take for example the ERG which because it calls itself a "Research" group, and is in fact an opposition withing the Conservative Party
