in fact, you don't have to wait very long. BJ does it again.

quote:

As the five contenders were lead out of the BBC studio in the basement of New Broadcasting House, their microphones were still attached.
Boris was overheard telling them: “You see chaps, we don’t disagree on that much”.
Environment Secretary Michael Gove immediately retorted: “Dates, Boris, dates”.
But Boris replied to him and shrugged: “Hardly, pah”.
...
JH:
“Now, the danger is that if we choose the wrong person now, we will have no trust, no negotiation, no deal, and possibly, if we have an election, no Brexit”.
Brexiteers will come to discover ( to misquote Confucious)

He that allows himself to be led by a Monkey must learn to exist on peanuts

The Tory Leadership rat race is all going with the usual fair play and sportsmanship as in this Express Headline
"
‘Dark arts!’ Johnson accused of sabotaging PM race - ‘Unacceptable anywhere else in world'
BORIS Johnson has surged further ahead in the Tory leadership race as a dirty-tricks row engulfed the desperate battle to join him in the final ballot.

Who Voted Brexit to get this?
As 50 Hertz pointed out, the imbecile that emerges as winner only has about twenty days in October to achieve Brexit
That is far too sort a time to hope to achieve anything positive
Far too long a time to be at the mercy of Boris cocking the job up!

are you talking about BJ or Gavin Williamson? the one with the tarantula on his desk?

Watching Stewart last night on Peston, he gives the impression that he will carry on to become PM one day.

the conservative mantra is: small government and cut taxes.
When a viewer asked last night about tax cuts, Rory Stewart's idea of his future government is more public spending.
No prize for guessing how that went down in conservative associations.
He hung himself with that reply. Not such a good diplomat after all.
Absolutely! he didn't lie to please the morons, not a good tactic if you want their vote, but the good news he will not get the blame for Brexit, so he scored there long term.

Oh, whereas this debate is useful. Irony is wonderful.
Which kind of makes your still being here something of a puzzle, unless of course you keep coming on to be useless?
Incidentally which side are you supporting currently? I lost track back there somewhere as you haven't said anything to support Brexit being a good idea in recent memory

who would have thought the BBC were biased??

Curiously the questions this imam posed didn't seem particularly contentious, which part of his question did you object to?

a random tweet I read this morning:

"It strikes me that our democracy now consists of just 100,000 or so people determining that we leave the EU without any deal. "

Not to worry, Boris will fail them when the time comes and just as after the referendum , he realises he will be held responsible, and runs for his life.

I shall describe Boris with one of the oldest insults in the English language, going back to Norman Times

Quakebuttock

Actually it was of course originally

tremblement de terre bout à bout

Sorry Woosh, I speak French like a native....of Yorkshire.. and I'm a Scot... how hard can it be?:(

Ok.

Thank you for conceding number one.

That’s great. Changed my life etc.

Your second point is your usual blarney.

How can an EU country veto a country that hasn’t asked to joIn the EU? Think about that....

Seriously....

Think about that. They said they would if they tried... (see my previous posts) your stupid semantics show you up as, well. Thick. Your lack of comprehension puts you with groaner.

Do you remember the Catalonian riots what 3 years later? Think again. Do you see why they said what they said about Scotland?

Jesus man. You are probably thicker groaners mince.

So you think. Despite the Catalonians uprising, of which the Spanish government were fully aware of would have allowed the independence state of Scotland just join. Without them using their veto...

You sir are a moron. It’s clear. At anytime I investigate your stupid posts I find such abject stupidity it’s just embarrassing.

As I say. I don’t even use my golden shovel to bury you. I don’t even get my hands dirty. You bury yourself.
Wow ,now you have a golden shovel

I didn’t think the imam’s questions were anything to get excited about, but the BBC could have found someone with a better pedigree to ask them.

I got the impression that all of the people asking questions were anti Tory, but if the idea of the TV show was to test the candidates, then that doesn’t matter.

What I disliked was how easily Johnson was let off the hook by the BBC. Rory Stewart asked Boris Johnson a really good question about what type of Brexit intended to get through Parliament and how he planned to achieve getting it through. That, is the key to the Brexit lock and of course Johnson completely failed to address any aspect of the Stewart’s question, he waffled on about something completely different. Emily Clematis totally failed to pick him up and on that. She could have really held him to account and exposed him for the unthinking, poorly prepared & scheming clown that he is. I found it very frustrating.

We are going to end up with Johnson as PM who will continue to BS the public, which will ultimately lead to anger and disappointment on both sides of the Brexit debate. That will then result in some form of a Corbyn lead Labour government / coalition, which for me will be a bigger disaster than Brexit.

What we need is something more like one of the very best Open University programs dissecting each candidate calmly, logically, allowing evidence to be examined, etc. Not a bear pit.

I agree, but as far as the great unwashed British public is concerned, it wouldn’t make for good telly. It needs to be more Love Island/ Kyle to capture their imagination. This is the problem we face.

No, no,

No need to embellish this blarney.

Thousands is funny enough.

Bless.
Funny you should say that, but ,i do post on a few other sites, and on one I have a certified 154k views over the the last year. While I do also post on other technical topics, a significant fraction is on Brexit related topics..using arguments I have rehearsed here.

Thank you for your usual attempt at a gtatuitous juvenile sideswipe, I was not involved in this conversation, was I?
Yet like a child you tried to score points against someone not involved, it was like you, unjustifiably pathetic, but when you grow up, with luck. you will stop doing it
