O good grief! hang on I'll correct my mistake, sincere apologies, I put my remark wrong side of the Quote.
Now this is strange, I haven't been able to find that insertion in your post to remove it, and in any case I had no means or reason to change it, what is going on?
If I somehow did so the apology still stands but honestly I really don't know now what happened.

Is this a joke. They are now saying it can be done, This one concession would have seen May's deal go through, Saying that if they had given Camermoron one concession we would never have been in this position.
The Eurocrats are a set of Jeremy Hunts.
I'm no wiser. isn't this the unaltered post? I haven't added or removed anything

For however long as they are isolated and confined into a secure space measuring a maximum of 2m x 2m they can't commit crime. It's when we let them go before they are ready that causes the problems.
So it's life sentence for everything?

If not, what you've said is meaningless. Michael Howard said what you've said when he was Home Secretary instigating long sentences. And crime rose and carried on rising.

I must admit I have no idea what happened there but I would never try deliberately to alter anyone's post, I have had it done to me and it's very bad form.
If I have offended you I apologise it was never my intention to do so.

They also said.
"Asked how the border would be handled under No Deal, he said: “I do not want this option to be created but we are ready to support the Irish government"

A hard border and supporting the Irish Government does not add up.
This one got a "they are separate issues" on the end....obviously a mistake, don't worry about it, :)

They certainly are. We could even see a LibDem-Green-ChUK coalition as a next government. That would bring us proportional representation and even bigger future change.

Boris is winning the Tories over, but if the above translates into a GE, he might become a very unimportant figure in Parliament. Farage is his biggest threat that he'll have to neutralise.

Yes just like the number of serial sheep stealers went down after capital punishment was introduced after the first offence... Ever wonder why?.

No, I’m not advocating life for all crimes. Initially, the sentence can be short, if they do it again it can be long, and if they persist, it can be until they are of an age that they are no longer physically capable of crime.

The situation we have at the moment is people roaming the streets with 40, 50, 60 convictions, some into 3 figures. That isn’t right and the solution is to put them out of harms way and amongst other like minded people. They can’t offend when in prison in isolation and without access to the outside world.

I beg your pardon. Do I need to call for a physician to attend to you?

Shorter but harsher to start with, when you watch the police programs on TV the scroatbags hate it when they get locked up at the local police station (on a Friday for court on Monday) I've seen them cry and ask to be sent to prison for the weekend. No TV, no drugs and no mates to talk to in a Police station, that's how prison should be.

Ireland
It has on the Swiss / Italian border.

Look, I don’t think we should be having this debate because we shouldn’t be leaving. However, all of this hard Irish border talk is pure BS. If the EU are finding it so difficult, let them build a border and patrol it.
There is a hard border at Switzerland. It is policed, much of the border is either lakes or sheer mountains. People can walk freely accross but goods are checked...and since the only way goods can get in or out is by rail, or road into the EU , not a great problem. Bringing ship loads of goods by air from third countries is difficult.
The EU will find a Hard Brexit No Deal Border absolutely necessary, and if needs must, it will appear 10 miles from me. They will provide a subvention to the Irish State to man it. Just do not think that it will be an easy fix. It will attract all the problems we have been anticipating.

Well any infrastructure they put up will have to be fireproof at best and bombproof at worst .....Can't see it happening.

it's more than just the border posts.
All cross border trade will need to be declared. If I sell a bike to an ROI citizen, he has to pay EU duty and Irish VAT, I have to claim VAT from UK government. The bike needs to have CE certificate beside Conformity certificate. Cross border trade for large companies will carry on but small companies just cannot afford the admin overhead plus punitive EU tariff at WTO rate.

I travel between Italy and Switzerland frequently and have only ever seen border checks about 5% of the time, and then the guards are usually looking bored, smoking and waving everything through.
