I personally think it's very important because it gives you a very good understanding of how the media manipulate facts and fiction to give you a false impression of the truth
And "Tommy Robinson" isn't manipulating the truth when he's used five completely different names over time?

Clearly he is intrinsically a dishonest person, and I cannot understand why you have allowed yourself to fall for his propaganda. His true underlying agenda has always been very clear, it's a personal feud against Muslims and Islam.

It gets more interesting. Last night on The Pledge on Sky News Maajid Nawaz said that Tommy Robinson will probably stand in the election, and what's more, he said that he'll probably win a seat due to the election system. None of the rest of the panel disagreed with him.

If this happens, it'll be the biggest shitfest our politics has ever seen. It needs something like this to shake it up. Out of the chaos, we should get a new order.

BTW, do not believe anything you read or see in the media about TR. If you want to know who he is and what he stands for, watch this. I personally think it's very important because it gives you a very good understanding of how the media manipulate facts and fiction to give you a false impression of the truth, which, of course, is happening with Brexit and other things too.

Well guess what? I like Farage. For those reasons and many more. He deserves a Knighthood.
I can't think of anybody in the last 50 years that has cost the UK so much money and created so much discontent in the country. If it had not been for him DC would not have put his party in front of the country and called a referendum.

Prior to the referendum Brexit was something like 8th or 9th place down the pecking order of what people were concerned about. The country at the time was doing quite well we had one of the highest growth rates in the G8.

Now for the last 3 years growth has been really poor, companies are not investing to improve productivity. Many foreign investors have been looking elsewhere. The government has had no band width for dealing with anything else except Brexit.

Money and energy has been wasted on no deal planning, I imagine its very difficult to work out the exact figure but if Farage had never existed then the country would be tens of billions of pounds better off, which could have been invested into health, education and social services. This then perhaps would have gone some way to help the many of millions of people who voted leave because they felt no one was listening to them.

Areas of the country that have been left behind are not going to be helped if we leave the EU, what was needed in these areas was investment into these areas in the form of infrastructure, education and training etc. The billions wasted on this Brexit shambles could have been put to far better use and the country would have been in a much better place right now, instead of the laughing stock it has become around the world.

I don't just blame NF for the mess we are currently in but he bares a large part of the responsibility, it is quite frightening how one man is peace time can cause such devastation to the country.

We would have called them noticeboxes in primary school, and they don't change. What distinguishes Mr Farage, is that he is a witty orator, with a more pleasant voice than most
Drunk and disorderly football yobs? he sure looks like that when posing and posturing at the EU Parliament when he is supposed to be working in the interests of this country.

Whatever the enemies of this country are paying him, they are being handsomely repaid by the damage he has done.

More evidence of fake news and manipulation by the mainstream media. Comedy Central is a very popular US news channel, geared to mature audiences according to wiki. They interviewed an Australian reporter about his views on various things mainly in the area of racism, but he suspected it was a setup, so he left a phone nearby to record the interview. When the show went out on TV, they had done some very creative editing, to show more or less the exact opposite of what the guy said to make him look very bad indeed. The guy, Avi Yemeni immediately posted on Youtube his evidence of what he actually said, and it went viral with over 2 million hits. The same happened on his Facebook, but the next day his Facebook account was deleted by Facebook without explanation.

When you see the whole interview, it's actually the interviewer that makes racist statements. Some of which are quite nasty.

He decided to go to USA to interview Comedy Central because nobody has had a response or explanation from them in the three weeks since it happened. When he got to USA, to which he had made many previous and recent visits, he found the FBI waiting for him. Apparently Comedy Central had told the FBI that he was dangerous activist who was likely to be violent or do terrorist activities. The end result was that his admission was refused and he was sent back to Australia.

The reason I'm posting this is not because I have any opinion about these guys motives or politics. It's just to show you what's going on in the mainstream media. You can't trust any of it, though as far as I can see, there's more manupulation on the left side than the right.

Here's his video of the scam.

I really hope one day to see a massive public inquiry into this entire Brexit mess, looking to see if Putin was involved in stumping up the millions given to Farage by Arron Banks.
Sooner rather than later, so treason charges could be brought. It's an offence that still carries the death penalty.

don't forget our appetite for anything internet related. Ever since Margaret Thatcher and the Big Bang in the city, we embrace and swallow the whole spiel about the wonderful world of everything internet connected. Without youtube and Facebook, Le Pen, AfD, Geert Wilders, Farage etc would not have done so well.
What they do is to apply the same logic that the tech world of Silicon Valley uses to make money: being disruptive.
In reality, many more tech ventures out of Silicon Valley failed than succeeded. The same can be seen in disruptive politicians.
Farage won't be able to replicate his last success in Euro election in 2014.

That's wrong, what happens on a channel named Comedy Central is no indication of what happens in the mainstream media. Doesn't the word Comedy say anything to you? Obviously that channel is there for amusement and probably satire, not meant as a source of reliable news.

BTW, I watched Click on BBC News yesterday. They had a clip on some Japanese fish farmers using AI to replace skilled workers. The AI is done by Microsoft, running on their platform.
It's cheap and easy for anyone with a good idea to develop apps using AI.
I reckon it will be a revolution and economically important in the future.

Are you seriously taken in by this charlatan? Come on! He's another"the world is all against me" with a victim complex.
Sorry but he is not right in the head,a pound shop rabble rouser who speaks to those gullible enough to fall for being conned.
What answers are you hoping to get from him? He has none to give, has he?

That sounds like an elitist comment. There are a lot of football supporters in this country, and they are part of this country whether you like it or not. They have a right to representation just like anybody else. Most of them have a right to vote. If there are enough of them to vote Nigel Farge in, theyll have their democratic representation of their views. Do you support democracy, or do you think it would be better to have a democracy, where only your views are supported? I think that there's another name for that.

I'm not a footballer and I don’t get drunk, neither do I particularly like Nigel Farage, but I'm happy that our democratic process gives them a chance to participate.

Do your research. There is comedy on the channel, but this interview was part of their news, not comedy. If it were a comedy channel, why did they ask the FBI to block Yemeni? Surely, they'd have invited him in for a drink and laugh about it.
