It sounds like the Remain campaign have been accused, investigated, convicted and sentenced. The Leave campaign have been accused, but that still leaves the investigation, trial and sentencing before we can say they did anything illegal. Innocent until proven & all that.
Nice try!hey have only got away with it thus far because the Government subverted the legal process rather than lose their precious Brexit coup.

no deal then
Not at all the so wonderful Mogg will hold his nose and cry of how much he is sacrificing his principles in the public interest, and sign May's deal and so will the rest of that sordid shower of renegades the ERG.
Look at it from his point of view
Brino is better than no deal
He won't get blamed if Brino goes wrong, but he will be in real trouble if all hell breaks out after a no deal Brexit.
Basically he is a typical Tory, ie a treacherous little self serving prat

How many times have we heard it is NOT about immigration?

Geoffrey Chesters was supposed to be helping at his daughter’s shop in Crewe on Wednesday, but he was engrossed in a book about money-making schemes, bought for £1 at Nantwich market. He’d reached a chapter entitled “How to become even richer when everyone else goes to the wall”, and was learning how to survive financial apocalypse.

“Look at this,” he said, pointing to a paragraph about negotiating a banking collapse. “This is what’s coming.” He’d been stockpiling tins for months. A no-deal Brexit was going to make everyone poorer, he said. But it was worth it, if it meant the UK got control over immigration. That’s why he voted to leave the European Union: “We’ve got too many of them coming over here and I want it to stop.”

What an utterly pointless stupid post. It really does devalue the thread.0
I, m sure we could find an armed robber or perhaps even a murderer to associate one group or another with.

We seem to be back to square one. All leavers are racists... again... Pathetic.

You can't say that.

If you do I'll call you a twat - that seems to be be very fashionable thing to say these days...

Did you see something you didn't like? this man gave his personal opinion, and it didn't suit you, so it shouldn't be reported on?
Where was there any suggestion that "All leavers" were racist?
That was entirely your suggestion,or are we to understand that this mans lack of understanding that we have actually control over the number of immigrants makes him racist?
Who was the person hopping up and down that people using the word "racist" inadvisedly were the cause of all the trouble,it's a remainer plot?

Does it indeed? the man endorsed his personal opinion so what are you on about?
Didn't you like what he had to say?
What are you actually disagreeing with, the man's opinion or the newspaper reporting it,or are you saying it would have been acceptable in the Daily Mail after being sanitised?

Come off it. I went to the dentist two weeks ago. No problems. Next appointment in six months time as usual. Plenty of staff.

I suppose it comes down to where you live.

'Deluded' Boris Johnson Shut Down By Sky's Beth Rigby In Fiery Brexit Exchange
"It's not happening, it's not happening."
https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/entry/watch-boris-johnson-being-called-deluded-by-sky-news-reporter-beth-rigby_uk_5c5165a6e4b0f43e410c831b?ncid=other_flipboard_loanehh4xwc
Former foreign secretary Boris Johnson was squarely put in his place over Brexit negotiations live on Sky News last night, as reporter Beth Rigby called him “deluded” to his face.

Despite flat rejections of her plea to reopen the UK’s ‘divorce’ agreement with the EU, Johnson insisted Prime Minister Theresa May is now in a position to “go to Brussels and get the freedom clause that the UK needs.”

An incredulous Rigby interjected: “Just as she rides off on her unicorn to Brussels, the reality check landed in my phone, this is from [European Council president Donald Tusk]’s spokesperson: ‘The backstop is part of the withdrawal agreement and the withdrawal agreement is not open for renegotiation. The December European Council conclusions are very clear on this point…’”

Shaking her head in amazement, Rigby then tells Johnson: “You lot are deluded, it’s not happening, it’s not happening.”

An increasingly flustered Johnson fired back: “With the greatest respect to Donald Tusk, it takes two to tango. There is a negotiation going on. You would expect him to say that, but believe me, the EU has every incentive to give us the deal that we need.”

Whether we are Leavers or Remainers the one thing we can agree on is the embarrasment of Theresa May,going back to the EU with her begging bowl again. I don’t understand why she seems determined to placate the minority of the ERG ,rather than reaching out to the majority of the Tory party who clearly favour a softer Brexit and staying in the customs union, will find favour with a lot of Labour MPs at the same time.

What is pointless is that this is rehashing the past. Now in the run up to the referendum, uncontrollable immigration into the EU was a hot topic. It did affect the actions of some louts and therefore the reactions of EU nationals living perfectly legally in the UK. Put simply it emboldened the louts. . Some people on the Leaver side may wish to airbrush this out, but it is a truth which needs to be acknowledged.

She is playing them along to the point where they have to nail their colours to the mast and come out in favour of No deal, which for all their sham protests, their paymasters won't let them do.
Then they will sign her deal holding their noses.

nothing wrong with tripes.
'tripes a la mode de caen' is quite tasty, eaten with proper French 'baguette de tradition'.
don't forget to serve a 'trou normand' before the next course.
As a student Saturdays in Sainsburys on the 80s working in the butchery dept bleached tripe was available - but heck even my Hungarian mum who'd happily cook and serve pig's brain and shoe leather goulash would gag at tripe. I think it's now only obtainable from abattoirs if you rifle through the bins.

Then as a starving bohemian artist in a mad house share once 'enjoyed' gritty garlic snails bred in discarded twin tub washing machine cooked by a vegetarian Frenchman who had the last laugh.

Calavados Brandy now your talking!

If you go back to one of my posts of perhaps a week ago, I suggested a very feasible way forward. Whether it would leave the Conservatives in government after the next budget is problematic. It will not matter how large or small her begging bowl is, the EU is not for turning.

1. Negotiate with the EU that the Backstop refers only to Ireland.
2. Allow a free vote.

Then sell the truth to the NI population, that they are getting the very best of two worlds. (Which they are).
