We'll see.

If what you say is true it will be the first time ever for the EU.

Like you say. There is at least one oother option on the table.
If Corbyn votes down May’s deal then there seems to be only one option left and that would be a second referendum....what concerns is what options would be on the ballet paper?
Corbyn is so dishonest,May’s deal is pretty close to his 6 criteria, especially the CU and SM,the only reason he would vote it down is trying to compel May to commit to a GE....I think in the end he will vote for May’s deal otherwise May could accuse him of not acting in the national interest.

We're on page 1944.

The tide my friends is turning in this Nations favour.
1944. That tide was only turning due to our being rescued by Russia and the USA.

This time no-one is coming to the rescue. After losing the first two battles, negotiating format and departure deal, we either concede the third and final forthcoming battle of the trade negotiations to the EU or lose the war.

Also now that the UK wont be contributing any longer how much will poor Ireland have to divvy up every year to the EU Mafia cabal?
Do I understand that you are not happy with May’s deal?
I am surprised, you have a favourable deal in N.I. ,the Scots would love to have the same deal.

I can see it now. Trump offers total tariff free chlorinated chickens in exchange for all Cd and DVD sales on the condition Meghan and Kate **** on him in the Queens chambers at Buckingham Palace and Vlad threatens to turn off Germany’s gas unless they replace Markle with Farages wife.

Pretty obvious when you think about it.

Claire Perry is a loud mouth who dominates conversations, she should have been told to shut up on Question Time, the only reason she is supporting the PM is in the hope that a top job would come her way.
The Labour guy,Barry Gardner?, was equally annoying,he was stuck on 33 rpm and turned every conversation round to his wish for a GE.

So we pay for projects but they tell us we can't use them.

Come on mate. Have a bit of backbone. I'm happy to pay it but I want something back in return. Its a simple negotiating strategt.

We have been given the square root of f all. The EU are practically telling us leave without a deal.

This changes nothing. Anyone with a brain can see this isn't Brexit so if this does fail then the argument is still live.

Its terrible in so many ways.
What you mean that it’s not your idea of the Brexit you thought you were voting for. Those with a brain realised that many in the population were duped by Farage/Johnson and Co ,it’s a surprise that those are still letting themselves be conned by JRM and Co.
That £39 billion will be paid whatever our exit route, the only way of avoiding it is to stay in the EU.,hope we keep Thatcher’s rebate.
Notice how Liam Fox has gone quiet on his 40 trade deals that would be ready to sign on March 30.,the pot of gold at the end of the Brexit rainbow seems to have been stolen by unicorns!!!
As someone who buys from 130 companies in China I realise that if we have a free trade deal with China the Chinese manufacturing juggernaut will destroy what little manufacturing capacity is left in the U.K.

It may have been said before but I believe that Mrs May has colluded with the EU to present this 'deal'' at the last minute to panic us into accepting it. I hesitate to call it a deal. Seems more to me like a surrender, and in the history of us being in the EU we are once again being sold down the river. The only saving grace is that it looks like it won't get through parliament, but who knows what will happen then
I think it will get through parliament,Corbyn will vote for it.

Actually I and 400 million other people have a very good idea of what will happen then. The UK will have run out of time. There will be panic buying and selling . The Border will go up accross NI James by reluctant Irish Customs officers .. .and there will be no deal.
The practical consequences of that on the flow of materials in the short term has been discussed on this forum multiple times ..
Whether Mrs May colluded with Mr Barnier,I don't know or care. I suspect she didn't. That sounds to me like a load of losers rehearsing their griveances.
When the EU sees the chaos in Dover, Calais, Newry, Dundalk, and Anglesey, they might offer the UK an extension, of the current arrangements..
But make no mistake about it. The choice is the UKs to make. The draft agreement in its current form will most likely pass EU Parliamentary oversight.
There are in fact many people on this side of the water who believe that senior parliamentarians on the UK side were only playing for time and with a hard BREXIT being the end game.

If I had more faith in medics, I might be more impressed by Sarah W.

As it is, it does make me wonder if we should put "First, do no harm" on the list of things that MPs should swear (or affirm, or whatever) when taking their seats... :)

Sarah Wollaston pushes for MPs' vote on second Brexit referendum

Tory MP to put down ‘doctors’ amendment’ and hopes to persuade Corbyn to back it

Sarah Wollaston and three other MPs with medical backgrounds are to put down an amendment to the meaningful final Brexit vote, calling for a second referendum in which remain is an option on the ballot paper.

The Conservative MP wants parliament to vote on holding another referendum as soon as possible and hopes to put pressure on the Labour leader, Jeremy Corbyn, and his frontbench to “come off the fence” and support a further public vote.

Wollaston said it was only by adding her “doctors’ amendment” to Theresa May’s motion that legal weight would be given to holding a second referendum, and without the amendment, MPs would be unable to force the government into holding one.

“People need to give valid informed consent,” Wollaston said, arguing that people did not fully understand the consequences and complexities of Brexit at the time of the 2016 referendum. “You can only give consent if you know what you are consenting to.”

I made a light hearted joke about a page number. You replied about incidents that happened in that year. It has precisely nothing to do with Brexit.

Eeyore would tell you to lighten up.

In what way?
Maastricht Lisbon. Those changed our country fundamentally and were just forced on us. Gordon Brown and Slimy Blair said they would give us a vote on it but reneged . Brown ended up sneaking in the back door to sign it. To me it just shows a total contempt for the people of this country

Let's see; Gibraltar voted to remain in the EU but are being forced to leave. Okay, except NI and Scotland also voted to remain but only NI get their wish. There is something inherently unfair about that situation but of course it may still be purely hypothetical as it's not over till the fat lady sings.

In regard to Gibraltar, I am stunned by the arrogance of The Chief Minister of Her Majesty's Government of Gibraltar, Fabian Picardo QC, in his remarks on the situation here:
