The political comment in the Guardian on Marr/Banks. I have only included the one paragraph - there is quite a lot more.

After a spat over a bank statement Banks had brought in – Marr drily noted that it was heavily redacted and gave no clue to how many other bank accounts Rock Holdings might have held – the interview continued to go round in circles with both men unable to fully explain the financial paper trail. Largely because Banks kept changing his story. At which point it became a possibility that Arron Banks also didn’t really exist himself and that the man on screen was Arron Banks Limited being used to front Arron Banks Holdings.

The mind truly boggles that anyone would fall for this, though after the Brexit vote, I could be wrong about that, after all think of the possible prizes!
Perhaps a small holding company registered in the Isle of man for instance?

THE UK will become “a vassal state, a colony” which will have to accept foreign made laws with no say over their creation for “the first time in a thousand years” if the Government’s suggested Brexit deal is accepted according to Boris Johnson.
So was he that thick in the head he didn't realise that the things he wanted were not unconditional?
Who could be stupid enough to think we could still be part of the single market and not obey the rules?
The man is certifiable as dangerously deluded.

which people are you referring to? the small band of conspirators who peddled this ultimate con, or the 17 plus million who fell for it at the time?

We are suffering from a confidence trick sold to a small faction, not the "Will of the people"
This is the "will of parliament" that lacked the guts to be unpopular.
We never ceded that control so that answer doesn't fit. Our border controls and immigration policy should have been streamlined long before 2016 in order that we could identify those people entering and leaving the country. 'Brexit' had no impact on that area whatsoever and neither does our membership of the EU.
'Ins & outs' under freedom of movement remain within our gift - the EU never said that we cannot eject or reject foreign nationals for any reason at all. Where there is good reason, we can remove those considered undesirable with no breach of the freedom of movement principle.
A succession of failed Home Secretaries who did nothing to address the issue is no reason for anyone to lay the blame at the door of the EU, tory MPs in particular being quick to do exactly that.
Now that many of those legitimately living and working in the UK, concerned about the threat to their continued ability to so do as a result of the fascist rhetoric since the referendum, have decided to leave, the effect is becoming noticeable in many areas. Just this week, a clinic in Essex has announced that their chemotherapy unit will close down in just over a week's time due to an inability to find replacement, specialist nursing staff, others having left the UK due to the threat posed to them by the tory government's refusal to assure them of their continued right to live here.
Having recently had extended treatment for cancer, I am acutely aware of the importance of this essential area of medicine and my heart goes out to those in Essex who may be on a waiting list to begin treatment.
