It might affect his (JC's) ratings, but my earlier question was this: On what basis should he not do whatever he wants so subject only to the same rules as all of us?

Don't think there was an answer.
Seb Corbyn is likely to become MP at the next GE or the GE after.
I don't think Tommy Corbyn is going for the same career path.

Because the rest of us don't have father's leading a socialist party trying to gain power in a predominantly tory capitalist society. Bit obvious really.

Slow news day. Might be in Hull. Have you read a paper today OG.
Thanks for the link
"
Former Labour minister calls Jeremy Corbyn 'the biggest threat Britain has faced in a generation' as he urges voters to back the TORIES instead"

My reaction?
Gratfiying that "New Labour" politicians are showing their real Tory colours at last and can now be weeded out.

You have to wonder what kind of an idiot with the disaster of Brexit hanging over our heads can change sides over such a trifling reason as a personal dislike of one man.

The truth is that he was never a socialist, just a freeloader like all the other New labour Torys.

He is working for McDonell at moment. One of their targets is to reduce nepotism. Open secret is he got job because of his name. Just a tad hypocritical.
OG.. I agree, but it shows state Labour are in and I, d still bet New Labour would walk into power now, had it not been for Tony Blair and Bush's war.

No , I don't want him in no 10 either but I want a Labour to stand a fighting chance of getting in there. A moderate , fiscal aware Labour government. Not this shambles of loony left group masquerading as opposition. Corbyn has set Labour movement back 30 years.
His route to power is as OG says. Just hang around saying and doing anything until Tories collapse. How long will Labour last if that works.??
Much longer than if they carry the can for the Tory creation, Brexit

Why is it relevant f he doesn't want it to be?
Once again you assume property rights on the behaviour of others where you have none.

Because he doesn't have written permission from Zlatan?
It's nothing to do with permission. It's all about popularity and timing. Just wait a while, perhaps until I, m in power. Personal sacrifice and greater good and all that. Isn't that what socialism is all about. I, d then make him an offer he could not refuse. Come on lads. Ghenkis killed his own brother to lead his tribe. That is a leader. We, ve got Corbyn...Who would then be negotiating with Barnier, Trump and Putin. What chance would he have when he can't keep his own son in line. That's great for our country isn't it.

Sending Corbyn to negotiate would be like Rowan Atkinson playing Vito Corleone in Godfather. How could he make any offers you can't refuse.

You never understand any other viewpoint than that of expediency do you?
No matter how unscrupulous and immoral, now you are giving a positive rating to Genghis Khan?
And the startling revelation that the measure of a man is his ability to keep his son in line?

Yes, if you are trying to become PM. Without a doubt. I, m not advocating murder, crime or anything illegal or even immoral. It just smacks of weakness. (and not just this episode)
Pointing way of world out to an offspring is a duty not a fault. Pointing out fact that he may well lose popularity because of sons actions would be enough .. If they had a relationship that is. If they haven't, we'll that's hardly a recommendation either.

Great in theory, just about everyone does that, but you have no control over the results of your advice.
And when it comes to Brothers that simply doesn't apply
Apparently you alone believe that you have.

Optimism as wildly misplaced as that lead to many voting for Brexit.
