There are some questions about the shape of any kind of 'Brexit', if it ever comes about, that need answering. Obviously, the idiots who proposed it and the moronic hordes who continue to support the idea cannot provide those answers because they have never had a clue about it in the first place and they have learned nothing in the elapsed time since the ridiculous referendum presented to an ill-informed nation by the second-worst PM of the last 100 years.
To establish why we are where we are today, we need to understand how some inexplicable things happen……..
See what I mean? So, with the passage of time, are we any closer to understanding what 'Brexit' might look like? Sadly, what we have been learning is that the future does not bode well for a tiny country with little foreign revenue producing, manufacturing ability and a massive reliance on foreign imports. Mmm…..not a good basis on which to venture out into the big wide world where every other nation knows already that we are desperate yet want to get all that we need for less than the price available as a member of the EU. Such arrogance will be rewarded but not in any beneficial way to the people of the UK. My grandchildren's generation will remember the political party that created the mess they will inherit and will force the politicians of their day to re-enter the EU, no doubt by then known as the US of E, paying the full membership subscription as the only hope of a more prosperous future.
Meanwhile, this slightly amusing infographic is not entirely removed from the truth of what will come to pass over the next decade:
