Brexit, for once some facts.

There are some questions about the shape of any kind of 'Brexit', if it ever comes about, that need answering. Obviously, the idiots who proposed it and the moronic hordes who continue to support the idea cannot provide those answers because they have never had a clue about it in the first place and they have learned nothing in the elapsed time since the ridiculous referendum presented to an ill-informed nation by the second-worst PM of the last 100 years.

To establish why we are where we are today, we need to understand how some inexplicable things happen……..

42580253_1249565681852615_7203938329069355008_o.jpg

See what I mean? So, with the passage of time, are we any closer to understanding what 'Brexit' might look like? Sadly, what we have been learning is that the future does not bode well for a tiny country with little foreign revenue producing, manufacturing ability and a massive reliance on foreign imports. Mmm…..not a good basis on which to venture out into the big wide world where every other nation knows already that we are desperate yet want to get all that we need for less than the price available as a member of the EU. Such arrogance will be rewarded but not in any beneficial way to the people of the UK. My grandchildren's generation will remember the political party that created the mess they will inherit and will force the politicians of their day to re-enter the EU, no doubt by then known as the US of E, paying the full membership subscription as the only hope of a more prosperous future.

Meanwhile, this slightly amusing infographic is not entirely removed from the truth of what will come to pass over the next decade:

it will be alright on the night.
Lessons will be learned, we'll make progress, we'll improve more slowly and we're still an independent country.

Captain to Radio operator
Is this a Brexeu coded message?
please clarify the following
  1. What night,
  2. what will improve.
  3. what direction will the progress be in
  4. Who will improve
  5. Who will we improve more slowly than?
  6. What will this country be independent of?
It's just a tad short of being a motivational message to me

Two things to come from Northern Ireland - the border problem and RMS Titanic. One ended up at the bottom of the Atlantic, will the other end up in the Irish Sea?

And we wonder why Labour can't put up viable opposition. Yes perhaps same old DM spin but it shouldn't be there to use against Labour.
You are making assumptions again, for the fact is that any reporting the pecadillos of offspring of the Tory politician's weird behaviour is suppressed by the press.

After all they didn't reveal the common knowledge of Cameron's weird behaviour with a pig's head till a jealous so called friend of his made it public, did they?
And there is a long history of this going on

MPs could still alter successful Brexit deal, researchers find

Politicians could force concessions during process of putting Brexit on statute books

MPs could still alter any Brexit deal secured by Theresa May and voted through by a majority in parliament, researchers have concluded.

Analysis of parliamentary procedures on both sides of the Channel show that MPs could wave Brexit through but still force concessions during the process of putting it on the statute books. They could also make amendments to the withdrawal bill, which could amount to a rejection of the deal.

Is this what they are doing? Get through the coming weeks and then force their plan/lack of plan onto us?

And if that is the approach, the uncertainty of now will worsen and have ever more effect.

As usual you miss the salient point. I couldn't care less how young Corbyn makes a living, question is how many do. It gives voters chance to see Corbyn juniour as capitalist and dealing in essentially out lawed products. (yes, I know it's not illegal to sell cannabis paraphernalia etc. Wickes have sold plenty of hydroponic systems for Cultivating the stuff)
It's simply another vote loser for Labour. I, m not judging anyone apart from Corbyn being stupid enough to let this and many other things happen.
It just points to his naive attitude to politics.

You are doing it again!
Once again you are judging people, namely Corbyn, so how can you deny doing that?

For crying out loud, how does Corbyn tell his adult son what and what not to do? and the same with his loopy brother?
You really suffer from a hangup where you imagine people should behave in a way that suits you rather than themselves.
They don't and they won't
You can't impose your attitude and hangups on others.
No one can

Sky poll:

if there is a second referendum, people would now vote to remain in the EU over a no-deal Brexit by 55% to 45%.

https://news.sky.com/story/sky-data-poll-56-think-brexit-will-be-worse-than-expected-11511870main.

However, there is still no overall majority in a 3 way vote: deal (15%), no deal (28%) or remain (43%) don't know 14%..
Depends on your definition of majority, political or mathematical .. Politicians could argue 43% is a majority. They get in power with less.

So why do you think DM go to trouble of running story. And JC sits his son down and explains why it affects them all. Again demonstrating a weakness in Corbyn.?
If I were running for PM no son of mine would be starting a cannabis paraphernalia business for media to get hold of. If he can't stop his son doing this should he be PM... Well said OG.. Didn't think of that.
I, m not supporting DM doing this sort of thing but it's bloody obvious they will. Opposition have to be squeaky clean and clever. JC is the opposite he makes himself and Labour an easy target.

Because here are lots of people who think like you
And you fall for it every time.
So you are saying you are prepared to dominate a theoretical son of yours to further your personal ambitions?

And if you can't dominate that son you are not fit to be PM?
Congratulations, your attitude has demonstrated you are completely unsuited to be trusted in public office.

Very revealing, and not in a complimentary way

Many voting systems consist of multiple rounds - at the first fence remove the lowest voted option or options, and go to next round.

What happens if you do that here? What do the deal voters do when they are offered the chance to drop out, or choose between no deal and remain? (I assume the don't knows exclude themselves by not voting!)

Weeks or months...

Toyota says no-deal Brexit would stall production at Burnaston

By Sanchia Berg BBC Radio 4 Today programme

Just what would be the cost of Toyota and all the other affected companies spending production for months? UK industrial output could drop by the sort of percentages that dieters could only dream of.

And with no guarantee of starting up again at the same level either!
