Where on earth do you and Zlatan get your strange ideas from? Nationalised state infrastructure is the European norm and over time most of Europe has always had a strongly left political bias. It's only the recent mass immgration that brought a hard right revival, but that's already failing.

.. no what I was saying is that the market for currently existing well made British drama and comedies, already made, and which is the staple diet of Netflix will be re catagorised as non EU, and rental revenue which would otherwise be available to the copyright owners in the UK will be reduced. And it is exactly a BREXIt related consequence..
Gripes about Netflix's policies in commissioning films is off topic.

I'm sorry mate but I'm still not getting this.

I'm probably being dim but I cannot understand your point here.

I will refrain from the obvious comment
My earlier post was that the uk entertainment industry was in line to get a boost in its income, because Netflix had made an agreement that on its European service it would increase the volume of eu sourced product from 2020. Now because English is the most widely understood language across the eu, it would have been the expectation that it would have been more favourably treated and get a greater share of the eu defined product. But as the UK will then be outside the eu, it will be catagorised as part of the US, Indian, etc and will lose market and rental share.
I did say that in the great scheme of things it is small beer, but it is a genuine brexit consequence.

I would have thought that the EU fears one of the hard brexiters more.
JC wants a soft brexit rather than reversing brexit.
JC does not oppose FOM.
he supports whatever he thinks will get him into power. If we are worried about Brexit we should multiply it by 10 if ever him and his clowns get into government. They will make the current bunch of clowns look like geniuses

not necessarily. French, Nordic, Belgian films have been regularly showed on the BBC with great success. Dubbing into English does not reduce their appeal.

It really is genuinely irrelevant and it still doesn't really make sense.

Maybe send me the link where you read this and I can interpret what you are trying to say more clearly.

Indeed they have, and some like the bridge have had niche success.
Some of the terrestrial French channels TF1,M6 routinely play multiple episodes of CSI or Big Bang Theory,NCIS, Law and Order way into the night, often with VO as well as dubbed .
My point, and i am not making it a fourth time is that uk distributors will be missing out on a nice little earner.

Let me try:

Netflix made an agreement that on its European service it would increase the volume of EU sourced product from 2020.

But as the UK will then be outside the EU, we won't benefit from that increase. Instead we'll be part of the reduction of sourcing from outside the EU.

Worse off.

The EU's actual stance on Nationalisation is irrelevant to my point, Corbyn's perception of the issues he would face are a different matter. Its as close as he, s got for an explanation of his stance. (eurosceptic as was Tony Ben)
My point was serious in that all you posters pointing out evidence that EU support policies of government owner ship of various industries should be pointing this out to Corbyn (and Labour in ) and not posters on here. I could not care less whether we nationalise Trains or anything. Corbyn sees him doing so would be problematic for the EU. And EU certainly doesn't want Corbyn or Labour when the are spouting about luxury communism
Plus EU know full well a Corbyn led Labour governnent would bankrupt UK with knock in effects throughout EU.

I wouldn't bet on it.
Even if we leave the EU by then, I reckon we would still hang on to the SM.

unlikely scenario though.
Firstly, JC may be PM but he's not the only minister. Secondly, their budget is only about 6% more than the tories'. It's big but not enough to bankrupt the UK. Most of the 6% extra budget will be spent on wages and easily recovered/recycled through the normal multiplication factor for domestic spending.

This is all part of the fantasy world you occupy, in which anything Corbyn or left wing is evil. None of it is fact as I've just been showing you from your previous post.

The EU don't care who we elect so long as it's not an extreme right wing party or leader. They are the ones that have been troubling them in Austria, France and The Netherlands. At no time have they expressed any concern about a European country's left wing party or leader.

This is not fantasy , besides either
A) Point your opinion out to Corbyn /Labour.

B) Give evidence Corbyn is now not Euro sceptic.

Or

C) Tell us why Corbyn is Euro sceptic if its not for reasons I, ve mentioned .

Simple fact is we have either extreme of our political system wanting to leave EU. But I suspect May and her supporters are leavers merely for political expediency. They don't actually believe in leaving. Corbyn and JRM do, for completely different reasons. It's a negotiating point for May EU are quite willing to work with. May will get a deal. Corbyn and JRM would both crash out. EU know that.

Arguing differently is not accepting, or perhaps knowing, exactly where Corbyn does stand with regard EU.. Its probably time we all knew to avoid such arguments as this.

It's in plain English.
"Countries can not grant state aid without EU prior approval "(Standstill obligation)
Explain how Corbyn could carry out his mandate , perhaps asking permission from EU at every step? Would only take him 50 years to do anything. He knows this full well. He, d be struggling in parliament (inevitable) he, d then be having to have same struggles with EU.
But ask him Flecc?
Luxury Communism frightens EU on many levels. He, d never get his mandate past EU.(or HoL?)

Classic inversion of reality, has Corbyn bought seats to regain in power?
And which set of clowns presided over this brexit shambles?
And now if you imagine they can get brexit to be a success, you are clearly deluded.

Even some Welsh-language programs have had modest success in English-spekaing (or at least, understanding) audiences - though definitely easier for me if produced in both Welsh and English versions.
