This sad tale in the attached video clip is symptomatic of life in tory Britain in the 21st century. We have been transformed into a 'me, me, me' society where no-one gives a hist for anyone else and we have become blasé about all the horror we see on TV news and read about in the mainstream press.
There is something seriously wrong with a society that allows billions to be spent on nuclear missiles, the delivery systems and the aircraft, ships and submarines required to operate these doomsday weapons while we have people sleeping in shop doorways and alleys most of us would think twice about walking down.
It seems we have become inured to the personal violence frequently used by bad people on our streets and to the kind of robbery and computer theft, blackmail and such like we hear about in the news.
The politicians don't care and their lack of empathy with the people suffering because of all the horror is reflected by their failure to look after the NHS, always seeking to abolish it in favour of insurance-based health care for those who can afford it. The people of this country need to hold their MPs to account and should have a legal right to sack them when they break their promises and fail to represent their constituents.
It wouldn't cost a lot of money to fix the problem of homeless people but politicians aren't even trying:
