They will simply move elsewhere, when exploiting the workforce fails to give the desired result.there are plenty of clever economists who explain the 'hockey stick' - I only read up with an open mind..
We are not in any desperate situation. Growth is modest but the economy is still growing, immigrants are still coming here in large numbers, divergence is 3 years away and will be managed.
Remainers may hope for the economy to get much worse but it won't because big businesses won't allow it if they can help it.
And that so called evil regime became as a result of diplomatic advances?View attachment 23420
Lol!.. left yerself wide open on that one TomTit
feel a tad silly now...eh?!!!!
Hopefully its over but history has a way of repeating itself. The price of peace and progress is constant care and taking nothing for granted. The grandchildren of those effected in the 70s are coming of age.And that so called evil regime became as a result of diplomatic advances?
Are you saying no one should have tried to help the peace process by talking to them?
And you tell Tom he should feel a little silly?
It's over, move on.
And the healing process isn't helped by hotheads who keep harping on about the inglorious past instead of putting it behind them.Hopefully its over but history has a way of repeating itself. The amount of rewriting history is not confined to any one of the sides. The " cornation " of the new SF president last week is ample evidence. And the healing process isn't helped by hotheads who keep harping on about the inglorious past instead of putting it behind them.
They need to observe restraint in word and deed.
Wise words indeed OG. We should all try and follow your wisdom on this ...both sides of the divide..( and I,m not being sarcastic)And the healing process isn't helped by hotheads who keep harping on about the inglorious past instead of putting it behind them.

I hope your ribs repair themselves without causing you too much pain, not good timing with repairs to the main pump due!Wise words indeed OG. We should all try and follow your wisdom on this ...both sides of the divide..( and I,m not being sarcastic)
Feeling quite mellow at moment...I,m in Vietnam and having appointment for heart procedure on my return I promised consultant I,d take it easy...he,s going to be a bit " pissed off" ( as wife is) I,ve broken 2 ribs windsurfing...currently enjoying solpedol , beer and Dire Straits..They are very sore...( ribs that is...not Dire Straits) Ahwell. Love Vietnam...can get on with what I came for now. Hopefully..
I ain't commenting on Brexit anymore. You lot sort it out..Good luck. You,ll need it.
You are missing her pointI watched TM speech at the Munich Security Conference on BBC News 24 this afternoon. She seems to speak on behalf of her brexit captors.
It is clear to ordinary people that if we want to join Europol, the European Arrest Warrant scheme, the European Data Protection scheme, we will have to accept the jurisdiction of the ECJ because they are run by the EU.
The simplest solution is to have UK judges sitting on the ECJ panels when UK is implicated in the proceedings. But no, she spoke on behalf of our hard brexiters. They do not obviously want to accept anything to do with ECJ.
Now who is ideological?
It should soon become clear that red lines are non-sense when it comes to negotiations.
that must be true because they insist on importing only straight bananas. What they do....................................ideological hostility if it differs
I too watched the May interview and I felt both embarrassed and ashamed to be British. Her whole demeanour was risible and contemptuous of both the German Chancellor and the EU. May, like the clowns she appointed to negotiate our exit terms, is singularly unfit to represent this country in any forum and each time she interferes in matters requiring a grasp of diplomacy, she simply plunges the UK deeper into the mire she and her party have created by their attitude towards our mainland partners.I watched TM speech at the Munich Security Conference on BBC News 24 this afternoon. that was from the telegraph, not the Guardian. They are really getting desperate in the Guardian with today's header
"
Exclusive Czech agent claims 15 Labour MPs met spies as Ken Livingstone and John McDonnell deny claims"
Just how gullible can the papers be?
This denunciation season is getting madder by the day.
I suppose it makes a change from pointing at Russia meddling in our affairs. They are really getting desperate in the Guardian with today's header
