Who knows what Theresa May morphs into,it looks certain that she will be our new PM,only she will decide what direction Brexit or otherwise will take and when we will go in that direction.

Dave,
The prime minister, whoever it is, can not decide 'Brexit or otherwise' - that decision has already been taken.
You are clinging to the notion Brexit can somehow be undone, but practically that isn't going to happen.
Look at things another way, if he had voted remain and I was on here bleating about advisory referenda and parliament could still take us out, what would you say?
You would probably tell me it's a done deal, old son, best get on with it.[/QUOTE]
If history is anything to go by,I don't think any of the referendums pertaining to the EU were ever acted upon by their respective parliaments.
Didn't the Danes have a referendum, that was ignored by their parliament
The Greeks had a referendum, that was ignored by parliament the following week!
The Irish had a referendum that didn't go the way of the EU ,so they renegotiated (gave them more money) and they voted the way the EU wanted the following year.
I think there are others, but not one was ultimately acted upon to the vote of the people, why should our referendum be any different?
This referendum will be soon forgotten,I understand that several of the major Italian banks are about to go bust, thank goodness we are not in the Euro,a new crisis will deflect conversations.
