I fear the movement will only be in one direction
No, barriers actually create jobs and make money for people who help to get round them.

Well, well, well! Some bloody nuisance MPs have managed to resurrect the Whitehall paedo ring scandal and forced the PM into saying that:

'she would “examine the case” for a public inquiry into historical child abuse in public life, for which 139 MPs have now called.'

I guess, roughly translated, that means she'll check to ensure all traces of the incriminating evidence are well and truly destroyed.

This is from the 'Telegraph' last week but it wasn't widely covered by mainstream media.

Can you pull a face in such a way as to look as though you are having difficulty with what someone is saying? I think M. Barnier does a fantastic job of looking utterly incredulous at the outpourings from the best that the tories could muster to represent the UK in Brussels:

I reckon Barnier is thinking to himself, 'I know you were born a bastard but 68 years later, you have simply evolved into being a stupid bastard!'

Why now? I am prompted to ask, and who are the 139?

While most of the population are trying to get their head around hard 'Brexit', soft 'Brexit', WTO, how to get to the Costas once Ryanair and Easy jet move out, etc, this lying, cheating government continue with their divisive tax policies which favour the rich at the expense of the ordinary folk whose tax matters are not within their personal gift.

Telegraph this morning
"
ExclusiveRoyal Navy a 'laughing stock' with three quarters of its warships out of action and 'struggling to protect British citizens'

"
A military source told the Telegraph, that the Royal Navy is currently unable to send 13 of its 19 ship fleet to sea due to a lack of supplies, staff and fuel thanks to defence budget cuts.

This has severely delayed Britain’s response to Hurricane Irma and has left the Royal Navy a “laughing stock” while France and Holland have already sent aid and troops to help with the disaster."

Taking back control in action

Brexit: Inquiry launched into state of negotiations as EU talks hit standstill
MP probe will explore the capacity of Brexit Secretary David Davis’s department to handle the discussions.

Perhaps in the meantime they could sent Davis down to the seaside to train in running a Whelk Stall?

. That is true but the jobs are not in any way productive and they suck energy from society. Border guards custom clearance agents idle lorry drivers at checkpoints additional clerks are all added expenses. The single market reduced all these and benefited European citizens particularly those in border areas now it comes back and introduces costs into the state.

Could it all be just as simple as this or was it an amazing coincidence that when Brussels determined that they would move to end tax-avoiding practices within member states, the UK's richest people, their parliamentary representatives and their propaganda arm all swung into action to find a way to appeal to the electorate on an anti-EU platform?

The attached article helps to understand what 'Brexit' is really all about, in my view. All the garbage about taking back control, regaining sovereignty, creating new business opportunities and all the other guff trotted out by a bunch of incredibly rich proponents was purely for the naive public's consumption. The whole 'Brexit' show was never intended to improve the lot of the British people in any way, shape or form and it's only now that some of those early adopters are having second thoughts after all the lies and hyperbole begin to be reality.

What the 'Brexidiots' need to consider is this: When have you ever known a tory government do anything for the common man? It's easy to identify policies, projects and legislation that provide increases to the wealth accumulation of the already stinking rich but for the ordinary folk who are denied the right to employ fancy tax advisers and accountants to handle their tax matters, they have become poorer under this corrupt tory administration.

I have to confess that I had never heard of the author of that article but an internet search pulls up some interesting stuff from the same guy.

And I learnt yesterday that the British Army has some 440 horses, but less than half that number of battle tanks.

Only one other army in the world has more horses than tanks, the Nepalese, and that's only because they have no tanks.

Quite clearly our defence Policy is one of great subtlety.

Sell all and sundry whatever weapons they desire, while making our armed forces, country,it's infrastructure, environment and people's lives of so Negative a Value that we decline to the point that if we aren't careful the only organisations willing to invade us will be driven by a Charitable intent.

We will end up being invaded by UN Relief Columns, with a population composed mainly of the old, sick and lame, where the young like the Bulgarians have decamped en masse, and have taken the Channel Ferry to find more welcoming places to live.

Of course no, which is why the Nepalese have no tanks.

More sensible than the Swiss many years ago who bought a number of our Centurian heavy tanks. They then realised they had nowhere suitable for exercises using them so made an arrangement with the French to use one of their training grounds.
