I am assuming the dealer has just done the Bosch training as there are no plans for an official Bosch service centre in the UK run by Bosch or other sub contracted company.

That is the hole at the frontDo you not have a hole at the front? directly behind the front wheel!
Erm...One thing Bosch did advise at the training was protecting the motor from spray when you have the bike on a bicycle rack.
Hi SRS I really like your photo posing with your daughter. I bet you any money that her bedroom is all topsie turvie. Is the casing not just for aesthetic?
I'd had mine fully immersed on several occassions, had the gears not been sealed, I am sure they box would have failed.
Is it once per revolution?Mine started the bosch tap tap tapping noise today so it will have to go back! We shall soon see how JD in Ilkley deal with it.
Does it sound like this? http://www.e-bikeshop.co.uk/blog/post/fix-bosch-ebike-popping-motor-noise/Mine started the bosch tap tap tapping noise today so it will have to go back! We shall soon see how JD in Ilkley deal with it.

Yep, it will start popping more and more until it does it constantly no matter what.Hi Martin,
Yes it sounds like in the video, top of the rh stroke, but only occasionally. It did it once before at about 500 miles or so, but only for about 100 yards and never again, until now that is. It pops about 10 times and then goes quiet for a few miles. Is perfectly ok now which I find a bit odd! I expect they will want to send it away.....
As its a bike shop that sells electric bikes, rather than an electric bike shop (I couldn't find any near to me) I think that's the way they will want to go. I have seen a video somewhere of this repair being done.. Was that yours?Yep, it will start popping more and more until it does it constantly no matter what.
No need to send it away, its a 15 minute job for someone who knows what they are doing. Cost more in postage & time etc sending it off.
Anyway good luck!
Martin
Thanks, and yes it's best not to look into her room.Hi SRS I really like your photo posing with your daughter. I bet you any money that her bedroom is all topsie turvie.
