Please excuse me starting a new thread on this and please dont add in references to dongles and other speedup devices.
The Giant 2016 UK spec e-bikes come set in KPH and cant be changed to MPH so anyone thinking of buying one and are bothered by this, should hold of until the 2017 bikes are available which are in MPH.
I am going to write to Giant and see what they have to say about selling a UK spec bike in the uk with a display giving the rider misleading information and am wondering if there is any sort of legal requirement here? I know bikes dont come with speedometers, but on those that do should they have to show the correct speed in an understandable manner.
I am looking for anyone else with one of these bikes, and any help in framing this letter and any of the legal stuff I might be able to add.
Comments welcomed
