Can't go wrong with "Speak softly and carry a big stick"Nice one signwave!
There you go Izzy, Phill's rights are protected and, perhaps more importantly in the long term, he retains a great relationship with his dealer.

The one with the loudest voice usually wins the argument! Can't go wrong with "Speak softly and carry a big stick"
Regrettably, that's often true. The one with the loudest voice usually wins the argument!
In my case if an argument/difference of opinion becomes heated and voices are raised aggressively I back down and walk away..Regrettably, that's often true.
The quote came from an American president who had access to the biggest stick in the world - which everyone knew - so it worked for him.
A friend of mine works in a hospital. In my case if an argument/difference of opinion becomes heated and voices are raised aggressively I back down and walk away..
Your argument will be won on facts. Not on a personal, confrontational level. In my case if an argument/difference of opinion becomes heated and voices are raised aggressively I back down and walk away..
Sorry, I had wandered off topic slightly..Your argument will be won on facts. Not on a personal, confrontational level.
I'd like them to define 'UK Spec', which is what they sold it 'as described'.
To me, as a layman, I would take that to mean 'MPH' on the display that they sold to me. That is a UK spec in my eyes. The display that they stated could be changed from KPH to MPH, and that they would sort out that issue 'next week'.
There'll be no need for upset from either party really. They promised to fix it, on the day of sale..
My first generation AVE/Bosch bike is km only - it has the small display next to the left hand handlebar grip. The BH Neo Xtrem only had kph, so I guess that the rest of the BH range was the same.
I can't say that it ever bothered me, but then again the bike had bigger issues to be concerned about.
Yeah, never drink wine from a plastic cup!I think it's a bit like being served wine in the wrong glass, some are bothered and some not.
I'll bet it hurts more though!the patient who complains the loudest gets the most prompt attention
If you dongle your bike then the speed is halved and you can pretend that that's now mphBecause the yamaha motor is so quiet I keep an eye on the speed so that I know how far over the cutoff I am. On the bosch mtb one doesn't need to look..
Will they reimburse you in any way?Confirmation from my retailer also - kph and no fix now or in the pipeline.
This issue aside - absolutely loving the bike - and making plans to get it setup for those dark winter journeys - wiring in lights etc - but that's a topic for another post . . . . . . .
Mine has a "Light" button so presumably there a connection somewhere.. Personally I dont like wired in lights especially when there's so many good lights out there..Will they reimburse you in any way?
What lights will you be using? How are you 'wiring them in'?
I bought this for mine.. flattes the beam a bit..I use this. But I need some 'peripheral lighting' come the winter dark.
