I’d be inclined to go for something like the Woosh Rambletta folder. Can accommodate different heights without looking odd. Otherwise, are you looking for crossbar or stepthru?

Really heavy, ugly looking imho and 350w motor so not legal in UK. Love the name though, beam me up Scotty.

Personally I’d rather see the battery and controller hidden inside a small bag on the front luggage mount. I guess anyone could fit it like that if they wanted, although that battery is perhaps slightly too large for the smallest bags.

Any decent local bike shop will be able to build you a strong wheel. I use Mavic A719 rims.

After many years of prevarication I purchased one of these recently as I have some planned part off road bikepacking trips. As everyone else reports, superb. A little heavy if you are looking to minimise weight.

I think now that 36v tool batteries are commonly available with 6Ah at only 1.3kg they would be ideal slotted onto the Brompton luggage mounting block via an adaptor that would ideally hold the controller. A lower tech (and cheaper) version of the ARCC kit which looks great but is so expensive.
