Most powerful eBike for long uphill journeys?

Totally agree nemesis. Thus my recommendation of the BBS02B 250W motor being fit for the purpose. Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk

Most powerful eBike for long uphill journeys?

I can't agree with you there Neal. I think it's truly viable as a sub 70Kg rider to achieve this. Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk

Most powerful eBike for long uphill journeys?

Correct. That's where I think there is good middle ground to be found with the likes of a BBS02B 250W motor in the circumstances the OP describes. It may however be an overly complicated/advanced solution for what OP seeks, but it would certainly deliver on spec., power delivery, durability etc...

Can be useful in short bursts at times, by no means a replacement for pedal assist in everyday use. Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk

A Bafang BBS02B 250W equipped bike could be a very good choice? PAS sensor and throttle override for short boosts should deliver providing the gearing is correct. Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk

Bike park wales extra £7 for e-bikes.

With increased contact patch, should riders with 4.6 wide fat tyres be charged at a premium rate? They are likely to be using twice the ground space of someone on regular 2.3 tyre throughout their ride, especially if running super low pressures This is where it gets silly and a little pedantic...

Should we also consider fat bikes could cause additional erosion? Even 27.5+ set ups with low pressure tubeless set ups with a 19 stone guy? Where would one draw the line? There's no doubt in my mind, that unless you're suckered by the hype, there's better places you ride anyway. I think if...

Not true, my eMTB is approx. 18Kg, A lower end dh bike would be very close to that. Factor in I'm sub 11 stone (except around Christmas!) and with a big guy on this dh bike there's little in it, perhaps him topping the scales over me... Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk

The cost of e-biking going up....

I've said it before and I'll say it again, that is utter baloney! SW got it, lots of revenue from uplift service. They should charge less for eMTBers as they are polluting the planet less by riding back up rather than smelly diesel uplift service van. Keeeeerching! Sent from my E5823 using...
