    Fox-Bomber-Leather-Motorcycle-MTB-Gloves

Hmmm, makes me wonder whether the cheap ones are the real McCoy or poorly made copies? Anyone know for sure? Sent from here to there with computer wizardry.

Good for all the family :)

Thanks. That's the next step.. I imagine I'll be towing him up and then he's able to ride sections on his own. Good times to come :) Sent from here to there with computer wizardry.

Good for all the family :)

Hitched my 4 year old up to the back of my good lady's off-roader and took him for a little ride on the tag along around Stamner Park today. Although we stuck to the main wide paths for the most part, we did take in a section of 'Doctors Orders' with a few log obstacles etc. that he took in his...

A very practical choice. Good kit.

I tried riding in double layer skiing gloves once when it was really freezing, and dexterity for cycling just wasn't there. Hold a ski pole fine, but very difficult on and off the brakes, shifting etc. I'll have a google about but the £21 ones look worth a punt. Cheers

Yeh, good old Lidl cheapo base layer eh. You reminded me I have some overshoes somewhere, I'll have to try and dig them out. I'll have a google for sealskin gloves. I have heard good things, but very expensive. I'm a fan of the 'buff' too, if a 'buff' is a 'snood' type neck warmer. ;) Keep...

    The best legal ebike kit

Nah, pretty much as I though, so thanks for your clear clarification. The setting of the amps (thus restricting power) via the programming software is fine and, so I'm told, upon request can be programmed at factory when the controllers are manufactured (flashed with 15A max settings opposed to...

    The best legal ebike kit

Totally get the power differences, and the reasons why, Nealh. (Well clarified btw). Is everybody on here happy that the arrangement described above would still be considered genuinely legal for use on UK roads as an EAPC? Cheers Darren Sent from here to there with computer wizardry.

looking for somebody to build me a bike

Well, you are clearly more than suitably qualified to answer these questions. And this is illustrated by your insight of the considerations of storing the bike in a damp, wet possibly salty water environment. I've only ever towed my son on a tag along bike. I'll look those trailers up, could...

Hardore Eddie! I'm waiting until the sun warms the air a little tomorrow. Often intrigued about your kit choices, what gloves do you use?

8-FUN BBS01 Crank kit on Boardman MTB PRO 29er

Unless you're dead set on that particular Boardman, I think I'd suggest to do a little more research and find something similar but with bsa 68-73 BB. It'll just make things simpler and far more straight forward. It seems you have a good budget for the bike (think those Boardmans are about...

looking for somebody to build me a bike

It is quite remarkable how many threads get sucked into the legality question; some are practically hijacked right off topic! The little video Woosh added is right on the button! I'm wondering whether there are any other boat or campervan owners who may have input? Equally, people who commonly...

looking for somebody to build me a bike

1.7kg is good, every little helps :). I have seen an older one and it's a very neat design. The new charge plug location allowing larger capacity looks even cleaner. A very good option at the price.

looking for somebody to build me a bike

Battery more like 2.6kg (11.6Ah 29E Samsung for instance). Generally the complete kit comes in at about 9kg all told with cable ties, rubber padding blocks etc. So yes, about the 20kg mark? Pop a smaller battery on if the required range is less? Mounting the battery on the main frame tube ahead...

looking for somebody to build me a bike

Hi Todd, How about something like a Dahon Vitesse d8 folding bike with a crank drive? One of these with a well programmed Bafang BBS01B 36V 250W and well considered gearing might fit the bill? It should certainly have no issue towing, plenty of torque available even with a road legal 250W, and...

    The best legal ebike kit

Well said, I couldn't agree more. :) The even more legal 250W versions still pack a punch with good programming. I imagine most people state side would be rather underwhelmed with our UK 250W offerings. Em3ev do have some very natty stuff. Sent from here to there with computer wizardry.
