    Suntour NCX suspension seatpost for when all the weight of the bike, battery & motor hit potholes. 3M clear protection tape for areas where stone chips might occur. Slime puncture protection in the inner tubes. Enjoy it!

That original design is a disaster despite lasting over a year, to have less than 1mm of metal from the edge of a hole to the outside of a steel bar is ridiculous, plus you should use high-tensile bolts with...

    Help! General purpose eBike, under £2k, with throttle for disabled partner

    For me, (58 Kg and very skinny) a Suntour NCX seatpost and well-padded shorts are a must when on my Oxygen MTB hardtail, especially when used off-road. Although I do miss a FS bike for all-round comfort.

    Can anyone please confirm the total number of chain links for the above mentioned bike, when fitted to the bike, including/excluding the link. Mine snapped the other day and I'm not sure if I managed to gather all the bits up. TIA

    Interesting set-up. On the On-One website it quotes the 'Grip Length' as 215 mm - is this the distance from end of bars to first bar that clamps on the stem? How does the bike react when negotiating sharp bends on the road - do the bars catch your legs?

    As above re the controller overheating, try to maintain a slightly higher speed when hill-climbing in particular, to prevent this. Also double check ALL the cable connections are fully together.
