Love mine also, a mk1 version. I've done few upgrades/mods to make it more comfortable for a COPD sufferer living in a hilly area. Keep your credit card handy! :) Great customer service.

More likely to be wrong setting of Hi and/or Lo screws settings, or B screw setting to accommodate larger 34t gear, than chain line. Unless the number of gears have also changed???

Is the noise still there when you lift the front wheel from ground and spin it by hand, also is it there when the brake pads are removed? If yes, then the caliper may need realigning - slacken caliper bolts, squeeze brake lever, re-tighten bolts - test.
