    Battery Meter

I use this ebay item and fitted it into a project box and attached to handlebars with a couple of cable ties. Works very well and cheap as chips. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3-1-2-BLUE-DC-50V-LCD-Digital-Volt-Panel-Meter-Voltmeter-Voltage-/221029267823?pt=UK_Gadgets&hash=item33765ef96f#ht_3089wt_950

    Bit of light relief......

We are on Maragowan Caravan Club Site. It is right next to a river with clear slow flowing water about 10 feet behind our caravan pitch. Lovely small village with nice pubs and of course the Falls of Dochart.

    Bit of light relief......

Got the week off so we are at Killin Stirlingshire with the caravan. Been out today on the Rob Roy Trail. A disused railway line from Killin to Balquhidder. Fabulous views and a very gentle trail for the most but it does have some real steep bits. Did 30 miles today with loads of battery left...

    A mountain climber of a bike !!

I don't think it is a simple case of just getting it registered. It would probably have to be SVA tested like kit cars and imports do before they can go on the road. They need a model report which I believe is a lengthy expensive process. Far simpler to just buy a moped.

Any disadvantage with a front wheel hub ?

Totally agree with ed_wanna_ebike. Bicycles were always meant to be rear wheel drive and this is very much my preference. Also a motor on the rear and hidden battery and controller in a pannier bag on a rear carrier is very stealthy. I does put most of the weight on the back axle but is not...

Who's got the rear Bafang BPM 350w or 500w kit from BMSBATTERY?

I have two kits with BPM 350w motors and KU120 controllers. For me and the Mrs. I had catsnapper supply the kits as in my opinion his wheel building is far superior to anything from BMS Battery. I would just order the motor, controller etc and ask Alan (Catsnapper) to build the wheel. Done...
