Torque or speed sensor - preferences?

Iam definitely in the torque sensor camp having got 2 crank drive bikes as for me i wanted as near to unassisted cycling as possible. However i freely admit that i have been proved wrong on throttles. I purchased a Mosso 29er a couple of months ago with the bbs02 crank drive and it came fitted...

Hi John, congratulations on your first ride. I too track my rides and have a galaxy note 3 .I use Endomondo and pay for the premium service which is a couple of quid a month but it gives me a lot more info and Iam able to use the note 3 's built in ant+ sensor to use a cheap heart rate monitor...

@ d8veh, do you really think that crank drives will soon be a thing of the past? It has been 18 months since i tested several hub drive bikes (thank you on- bike) and found them excellent except for me it didn't feel as close to a normal bike whereas the crank drive did . Has technology moved...

    Fitness e-bike - please help :)

I just bought a cheap ant+ HRM from decathlon which works a treat with my galaxy note 3 with Endomondo or strava . If i was buying now i would also go for the S10/11 for the bigger battery as that is the only minus that i have encountered with the bosch system. Insurance is a prerequisite 5...

    Fitness e-bike - please help :)

Hey Daz, I train a lot with a HRM to stay in the fat burning/ aerobic zones and have found the BS10 ideal as with the extra power it has allowed me to keep a steady cadence and highish average speed whilst keeping my HR at a steady level. Also the extra power from the 2 highest levels are a...

    Fitness e-bike - please help :)

Hi Daz, I was in a similar position to you last year. Been a PT for 30 years but gave up competitive bodybuilding 10 years ago after my second knee op, had 4th knee op last summer and needed none impact biking, i ended up with a Kalkhoff BS10 which has been brilliant, done nearly 2000 miles...

Plugging your phone into the Bosch Intuvia console

I cut a small hole in the plastic sleeve and ran the cable down into the main compartment and out of the mp3 cable hole at the bottom of the bag. I have been caught in several downpours and no water has got in yet.

    I've reached my pinnacle.

Let me second that. I ran out of juice a couple of months ago only 3 miles from home and I couldn't believe how hard it was to peddle the BS10 without power and it makes you realise just how much help you actually get even on the lowest setting. Trying to cycle a 20kg plus bike is always going...

    ebay 60kph mid drive kit

Hi Paul, Trex is correct, I bought a Mosso 29er off eBay the other week with this kit fitted and although i have only done 75 miles on it so far, i can assure you that it will easily do 25 mph on the flat, i hit 36 (strava& Endomondo) on a slight downhill slope without even trying . On Saturday...
