Attached is a photo of a Cube Stereo Hybrid. When the battery is removed, there seems to be a good chance of water being trapped. Anyone know if I need to be careful when I wash the bike?

must admit this concerned me a bit on my KTM. I have washed it with battery in place & find water in here when you remove battery.
So far no problems & I would hope that Bosch have a fairly good idea what they are doing.

I guess I'll just hose it down with the battery off and see if the water escapes. Pretty hard to stop riding and do some cleaning when the bike is so much fun!

Hi,

There is enough room around the battery holder for the water to drain. I always wash with the battery off. Then just blow the connectors with my mouth to move and water puddles that might be there after hosing.

It is good from time to time to use a small wipe of grease or GT85 as suggested above to keep the terminals clean / not corrode. Just don't go crazy as you don't want to short anything.

Regards
Martin
