    8fun crank drive kit

Quite a few li-ion batteries with BMS's - Bosch included - only charge to 4.15v per cell and limit depth of discharge to 80% - which is why they can boast high cycles.

    8fun crank drive kit

Li-ion/lipo are the same chemistry - the distinction is just the solvent - liquid on a li-ion battery and a solid (polymer) on the lipo. In fact the correct names are Lithium Ion and Lithium Ion Polymer. DOD is depth of discharge. Oh yeah :-(

    Cute100 internal phase resistance

Windings on the first:- Haven't checked the second - they are so cheap I don't really care. And yes, it is a bit "growly" at higher watts although once up to speed it's quietens down a bit - you can certainly still hear it though. Definitely not in the Tongxins "near silent" league.

    Cute100 internal phase resistance

    36V / 201rpm although I calculated it @ 230rpm. I run mine @ 63v / 700watts. First Q100 died @ 850w within two weeks. 2nd one lasted 6 months @760w, although I think that death was a hall issue. I'm now @ 700w on my third.

    8fun crank drive kit

Not interested in hub drives on that bike - not enough torque - well not unless you start going really high power and on a bike with thin alloy dropouts front and rear - no thanks!

How luck are we in the UK?

This is why NYC have cracked down on ebikes (and soon all cycles). Lots of delivery riders uses ebikes in NYC. Those that used them responsibly never appeared on the radar. The irresponsible made themselves a target.

`Rear hub drive motor with 32 spoke holes

Just buy a 36 hole version of your existing rim. If I'm reading you correctly you're thinking about getting a motor, unlacing your existing rim and lacing it onto the motor? If so, that's a bad idea - you do not want to build a new wheel with a rim that previously been built into a wheel. New...

How luck are we in the UK?

There are American towns that have banned cycles full stop:- Black Hawk Bike Ban - Bicycle Colorado Banning electric bikes is easy because their users are a minority and it's just part of the anti-cycling, "roads are for cars" mentality that many people have. It's nothing to do with high...

This electric bike has been out quite awhile now...

It really depends on the controller - if it's capable of putting out more amps then it'll consume more power. If you're getting 30 miles on your current bike you might get 25 miles on a BPM bike if it had the same size battery and top speed. But your journey times will likely be a touch...

What bike exactly mountainsport - they have about 10 models listed on thier website. Some of the bikes have 52v 15ah batteries - 50-70miles isn't beyond the realms of possibility with that size battery - 52*15 = 780 watt hours. Assume 11 w/hr @ 15mph that gives 71 miles. They do just look...
