Fair comment. I think the argument between them all is being overplayed. EU as a distraction from their failings, media because that's what they do and public in an attempt to blame party they see as failing. It won't get to court. Even if it does it will be well down the line and both parties...

I, m not so sure. If we see infection controlled, deaths down to the levels we, d expect from a bad Flu year, hospitalisation down to 10% or so of peak and steady and country opened up with kids at school and pubs, hospitality open... Roll out has worked. I, m not talking about the nuts and...

Which courts? Ours certainly won't be seeing a court room and doubt very much EU even will. Why should ours face court scrutiny? Might if everything goes pear shaped but even then nobody has broken contracts or even faced penalties within them?? Why do you think AZ will be taking UK to court or...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Could be... Thing is (according to survey) EU generally sees Johnson has not doing a great job with vaccine but see their own leaders and EU as even worse. Its as if they think UK has done well with Vaccine but attribute none of that to Johnson. Which is probably fair. Just for info OG, your...

https://www.politico.eu/article/coronavirus-vaccine-eu-slow-rollout-poll-kekst-cnc/ This is effect I was talking about. Its very pronounced in people I speak with. I, m not criticising EU, like I have been reminded, its not my business any more, but there has been a massive change of attitude...

Don't think it will make court. Will simply demonstrate how badly it was handled. Nobody will want that. And who benefits? Nobody. Well lawyers will. ECJ??? Would that be a fair body judge? The whole issue is a powder keg. EU will make noises about court but it won't get there.

I couldn't agree more about the BMI. Years and years ago I played Rugby at a fairly high standard and was at a college doing PE/Maths post grad. The entire Rugby first team and 2/3rds of PE students had BMI over 28. None were fat. At all. Mike Tyson I believe at his peak had a BMI well over 30...

    Wafty Cranker here !

The Haibike is just coming up to 5000 miles. Had 2 new cassettes /chains. Nothing else. The Tongshen was given to daugher. (her bike). Built that around a year ago and it gets very hard use, pulling a trailer most time with a 4 Yr old in it or very technical rides. (she, s way fitter better...

There has been criticism when countries have gone alone recently. No matter who is responsible it is not admirable. Remainers don't like to see or admit it but rightly or wrongly it has been seen as a vindication of Brexit. Just because it isn't in your mind (many on here) doesn't mean it isn't...

Fit a Tongshen crank drive. Fantastic, no touching wheel or brakes, easy fitting, access to all gears for e motor... Fitted a 500w to a cube mtb, easily as good as my Haibike. (probably quieter, but just as powerful, longer range but bigger battery) Highly recommend Tongshen kit, comes in...

How so? I see vaccine roll out as a 10k mile sea journey. We, ve got 2 month start, got all provisions we need to get to destination. Yes, we, ve tried to cut a corner which might knock 500 miles off journey or it might add 200,but we are miles ahead and have better boat speed.??? Let's hope we...

Yep, agreed. I wasn't criticising BTW.. I see all that but just wonder how general public see it. Yes, we know heads of EU couldn't or wouldn't start a war like our friend Tony. But he was ousted, in fact I truly believe had it not been for his war mongering with Bush he, d still be in power...

No need to single you out. We all insult each other, but you are a bit better and determined than rest of us at it. I did think let Susan have time to read a post before you call her a tory fan boy but some people are so sensitive. Sorry Susan. Ignore him.

For Danidl From the article. (not my font size, apologies) I do suggest we all read the article. It isn't pushing UK as some vaccine saviour, simply explaining mechanics and politics behind the vaccine, which is proving to be equally important as the science behind them.

Danidl I suggest you go back to post 92170 and have a good read of the link. It's a long article, you haven't had time to read it. Should be compulsory reading for anyone commenting on vaccines. Its not political or biased. Read it. The figures I quoted about uptake were from data this morning...

https://www.politico.eu/article/europe-coronavirus-vaccine-struggle-pfizer-biontech-astrazeneca/ Very good explanation of vaccine story so far. Flecc Serious question. If EU citizens (not MEPs) decide Von Leyen is responsible for vaccine in EU and they want to vote her out, is there a...
