    Brexit, for once some facts.

You are using paradigms again Woosh. Starmer and credible in same sentence to start with. He has none. His only chance is a coalition. Which is startling considering state of Tories. It's not Starmer in isolation. It's everything both the party and he has come to represent. Labour has grown to...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Yep, perhaps. What has become apparent, which we should all know, is that a none functioning party produces a none functioning government. But even worse, with a none functioning party in opposition we don't even have a democracy. We have a single party failing dictatorship, with the mechanics...

Agreed, but it says something about Starmer when he, s up against the most shambolic, discredited, corrupt and down right incompetent government in countries' entire history and his chances of getting in no 10 are about same as MUFC winning league this year. Actually probably worse.

Now there's a paradigm if ever I read one.

I reckon Boris will lead raving luny party the second to a massive defeat next election. Seriously think he will be back in no 10 at some stage, even if its only delivering pizza. (with a bottle of bubbly of course)

If that were case we, d still have Boris and Sunak. Which, to be fair, would be advantageous to our current fiasco.

We used to say that folk boating with nothing to worry about are missing what's going on. Generally it's that type that things do go wrong for. Honesty, it's not a holiday. To really enjoy it... Employ a captain that worries about everything and a crew who listens to her.

Like most things in life reality often shows stark contrast to our dreams. I, ve lived on yachts and barges for fairly extended periods. Emptying toilets, worrying about weather, cold, leeshores, breakdowns (especially catostraphic ones on modern yachts, Google "Cheeky Rafiki") , locking...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Agreed but stopping things that aren't doing so is only making things worse. And it's the folk with the farm land doing as much damage as any. I have a lot of interest /experience in care and preservation of lake s/inland waterways/canals etc. Without a doubt the biggest problem is agricultural...

You probably had some broken PV panels above them.

But your two links say if fitted and maintained correctly they are fine. It's "leached" by the way. I have a 25 year old BMW, the door seals still keep wind and rain out. It's hardly rocket science to seal things correctly. Not much hope for Lithium batteries otherwise.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Not quite. I, d have a good read of that one too Guerney. The test piece was a 5x5 cm of module cut from a full piece with no edge protection. The conclusion was If modules are well fitted with correct side sealing "there will be no leaching" It also points out leaching will occur if modules...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Have you read the article Guerney? The salient point is calling for safe disposal "after" the 30 year expected life..?? I don't think there is a problem the mentioned metals leaching out in usage, even tho the illustrations lead you that way. Look at it other way, would panels actually work...

Only if smashed up and buried I, d guess. But they wouldn't work then.

The maths for Hybrid has never made sense, except for top exotica,in which they can claim ridiculous green credentials (80 mpg etc) yet still accelerate at ridiculous rates (utilising both simultaneously) F1 has been quite happy to support and promote the silly regime, but that's hardly a...

A (no?) confidence vote is derigeur for PMs these days. Lizzy seems to be earning hers in record time, her boxes are still sitting unpacked in the hall at No10. Just get kettle out lads, will save some time. Reaching point No 10 doesnt employ furniture removers rather Ryan Air baggage handlers...

Unfortunately tho the car and modern civilisationm are interdependent. Take away one and the other probably doesn't exist. The car fed and motivated, literally and metaphorically, the commercial and hence economic development of Western (probably wortld wide) modern civilization. Look at Ford in...

A diesel car carting around a bloody great big battery, motor and reserve drive system... Or an ev with a generator.. There really is a great big ironic elephant in the boot with either. Hybrid.. An amalgam of the faults of both perhaps.
