I’m sorry to hear that. My father died of bowel cancer which spread to his liver. However, there is something which appeals to my dark sense of humour in the way you have written it.

The key phrase in your post is, "There is no plan." That is undeniably true, there is no plan and we found that out the day after the referendum result was announced. Some strongly suspected that there was no plan, and those suspicions were confirmed on 24/06/2016. Since that date, the promises...

Yes, I seem to remember them benefitting from free telephone calls within the Hull area during the evenings. I prefer my telephone boxes red though.

I have been to Hull a few years ago when I attended a course. The only thing I can remember from both the visit and the course is the fact they paint their telephone boxes grey in Hull.

I don’t know. He probably keeps a list of names and doodles plans for a detention centre where he can send them. You are probably right at the top of the list, along with anyone else who shows any signs of wanting to work hard and earn a bit of financial security.

I can’t see what’s wrong with Tusk’s remarks. He’s just calling out UK politicians for the clueless clowns that they are. Unlike statements form our own politicians, Tusk’s statement was truthful. You never need to apologise for telling the truth.

It never ceases to amaze me how the working public can be turned against unions. The Daily Fail portrays unions as some sort of evil enterprise working against the good of the economy and the country as a whole. What is even more amazing is the readers comments. Assuming that these comments...

You are right, the geostrophic wind is reduced by the friction of passing over land, less so over water. So for a given pressure gradient, the wind will be strongest away from the source of the friction, either over water (the sea), or away from land (elevated on a pylon). The key point is...
