    Brexit, for once some facts.

Is this the same Farage who predicted that the EU would be a pushover and would be desperate to give us a deal? The only reliable thing about Farage is that he is consistently full of pi$$ & wind.

No need, just like his mate Tony Robinson, he will disappear soon enough and no one will remember either of them. There have been Robinsons in the past, in the short term they appeal to the ale soaked fat heads, but then their attention span wanes and a new FIFA game is released for the XBox...

That makes a great deal of financial sense, but for some reason I could not bring myself to do it, which is crazy. Why would I want to own a house when I'm dead? Wouldn't it be better to enjoy the cash now than to wait for some distant relative to benefit after my death?

Well they should be put to work in coal mines as soon as possible so that they can pay for their care, in the same way that the elderly will soon be paying more for their care too.

He has a point. Sometimes, the dealer will improve their offer, sometimes they won't. To a great extent. it depends on who is negotiating and what they are asking for. In the case of the UK, we have complete incompetents negotiating and they don't know which make, model, colour or trim level...

Tommy Robinson doesn’t even qualify as an imitation. He’s like one of those giant inflatable tubular men you get on second hand car lots. The ones which wave around in the breeze, desperately trying to attract attention. Instead of being kept aloft by a fan blowing air, Robinson is inflated by...

That’s true, but name me someone in our establishment who has demonstrated outstanding negotiation skills. If the EU were the car dealership and the U.K. establishment the prospective purchaser, you have to agree that they have used us to wipe the car showroom floor. At the moment, the U.K...

Or you may end up with no car and become reliant on a failing bus service. Queuing for hours in the rain for a bus that doesn't show up. Great!

A well thought out, reasoned and balanced response backed up with plenty of evidence. Well done you!

He’s the very definition of flash in the pan man. Farage is very skilled at tuning into and feeding people’s emotions. However, he is not a deliverer. His track record is irrefutable proof of this.

I am being deadly serious when I say the following: I sometimes wonder if people “catch” medical conditions off Facebook. I often see people posting their ailments on Facebook, which I can only conclude is an exercise in fishing for attention, and then see scores of overly sympathetic & mushy...

Maybe. Fortunately, I’m still at the one appointment every 5 - 10 year stage, so haven’t really experienced what you say. GPs need to start referring more people to my cycle for Health rides on a Monday evening :) It’s better than pills.

I’m just looking at some stats for access to doctors (your GP). Currently, according to the stats, we have 60 GPs per 100000 people. In 1984, it was 50 per 100000 people. Why was there no GP crisis in 1984 and why could I see my GP within 24 hours in 1984, when we had less doctors? Are we being...

Agreed, but the same can be said of many serving MPs. We need to apply the same sanctions to them as well. We can’t single out one person’s behaviour and apply penalties whilst ignoring similar behaviour in others.

I think we have the option to unilaterally cancel Article 50. For the image of the country, the Brexit process has been like going to the gents in a crowded pub, and then returning to the bar having forgotten to put your knob away. Just something best forgotten and never mentioned again.

I’m no fan of Tommy Robinson, but the tolerance and the approval of acts of violence against him isn’t right. The police disgust me. I don’t know what’s happening to them.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I think it’s difficult to take any opinion on Leave or Remain from the Local election, but as you say, the EU election may give a clearer indication. I can’t believe that a disgruntled and hardened leaver would vote for the LibDems, a confirmed Remain group, in protest. I think the gains made...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

May has said that Labour should listen to what voters said on Thursday and help the Conservatives deliver a Brexit deal. The Conservatives, who are positioned as a leave party lost more than 1300 council seats. UKIP who are without question a leave party lost 145 council seats. Labour & JC ...

I disagree there. Neither know their backside’s from their elbows and the LibDem leader has handed in his notice. None are dead certain remain.
