    Which bike under £1,000?

Hi; it's important to ride a selection of ebikes if you can, and check on both the reliability of the bike and the dealer. For what it's worth we have found Juicy Bikes to have both. Lots of reports here on this forum! Let us know your decision, happy biking.

Agree - an interesting and instructive way of passing 5 minutes! Tom

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Not that long ago, on a Geological timescale at any rate, Britain was covered by a thick sheet of ice. The ice retreated and humans moved in - immigrants each and every one. According to DNA testing my gang arrived, from central Africa via France, Sweden and Ireland, about eight or nine hundred...

    Introducing the new Woosh Bermuda

If I happened to be 50 years younger I might well be interested. I'm all for affordable reliable eBikes. Sadly I'd need a mounting block to help me clamber on board and I'd probably grumble about the absence of mudguards and a wicker basket! It's good to see a wide range of eBikes available to a...

    EU Referendum Vote

Is the plague of frogs a threat if we stay or leave? I'm so confused by all the ficts and factoids. Which one brings the everlasting darkness and smell of sulphur? Should I be worried by the fact that the population will treble overnight if we - oh, heavens - is that if we leave? I'm so worried...

    Hello from total newbie!

Nothing wrong with a headlong rush - so long as the brakes are working! Welcome. You should be warned that riding an ebike leads to having a wide silly grin on one's face during the journey! :-)

    Gravity + ?

J had a slight accident today, no blood shed but a little paint grazed. She was riding her eTrike (one wheel at the front) at low speed and turned right off the road into the Co-op car park. She fell off to the left. Why? How can this be avoided in future (she still loves the trike and is simply...

    Mopeds with large wheels.

Agree; the Honda Innova is bomb-proof. I ran one for years with minimal servicing. It never failed to start (or stop!), romped through MOT's and sipped petrol. I bought it when it was 3years old, sold it 5 years later and lost very little on it. There are tales of people going round the world...

    Looking for a bike!

I second the suggestion that you visit Juicy Bikes. We have had their Classics for about 6 years, during which time the have proved durable and reliable. I cannot emphasize too strongly the importance of riding/testing/talking to the seller - Bob Wales has been of the greatest help to us, unlike...

    pedelecs banned from UK event...

J has ridden at least two 40k charity rides on Lucy, her pet Juicy bike. She's completed both rides and received great encouragement from Cycletta, the organisers. She's hoping to ride again in the October Tatton Park run, this time using the eTrike (in spite of falling off it yesterday!) She...

Pedelecs frum makes me feel sick

The forum is bigger than any single person, so, like before, I don't expect I'll be missed. In fact, when I take a step back and think about it, why bother? I get no financial incentive, nor do I have any point to prove or agenda to indoctrinate people with. I'm thinking that I'm a sad bar...
