Thanks D8ve, my mechanical skills are good. Used to building framesets up, just terrible electrical skills.

Electrically they are simple all moulded plug and play fittings, the onlt issue may be hiding some wiring if its a bit too long.

Very excited. I have been looking, hoping to find a nice trike for sale. Well tomorrow I have a HP Velotechnik Scorpion FX arriving!

Being designed to fold small, it will still fit inside my wife's UP if I need a lift home as I recover my strength after treatment. Thanks to your help I also know how to approach addIng electric assist.

Hi: 'fold small' - how small is small, please?
Best wishes,
Tom

The Gekko will go in the space at the bottom of my stairs where my trailer is parked 107 × 83 × 58 cm, the Scorpion is slightly bigger 90 × 83 × 63 cm <- it is the 5 extra cm "thickness" which counts if you can slide it in or not.

That velotecnic looks good, is it an import, or did you source it at home, where ever home is?

Look forward to learn how you get on with conversion, if you using it manually, I.e. old skool pedalling, bear in mind recumbent use muscles in a different way than solo upright bikes, once you get the knack, they are tremendous fun!
