I took the plate off, and as you say, the controller is visible, as per photo. I haven't taken it out yet, but if the size is ok, would something like this work, or would you recommend something else...

I got mine yesterday too, so haven't actually ridden it yet, by the time it put it together, and charged the battery I couldn't be arsed. I'll see how it goes, and I might look at changing the controller and LCD display at some time, but will have to get advice from here as to what are the best...

I've now taken delivery of the bike, and yes, it has a smaller LCD display, and there are no spare connectors anywhere to connect up a throttle. Do you know if it's fairly easy to access the controller, in the event I do swap it, and if I do, would you recommend any particular controller and...

Fingers crossed we come up with something! No mention was made on any literature from Oxygen that there were any changes on the latest versions of this bike, and it was never a problem on older ones. However, having bought it, I'm not going to 'simply' buy another bike, a) I don't need more...

I'm in the same boat as you! I'm waiting for mine to be delivered tomorrow hopefully. Having contacted Oxygen, it appears that the very latest MTB MkII's can't be deristricted, and you can't fit a throttle to them either (which has pissed me off a bit!) However, I can't believe there's not a way...

I don't know yet, as it's not being delivered until Weds this week. I'm hoping it has, but no idea as yet

Thanks for the info- I spoke (very briefly) to someone there this morning. He didn't seem particularly helpful, basically just said that you couldn't fit a throttle on the latest version,so not totally convinced..... I just can't believe there's no way around it. Incidentally, if anyone's...
