Thanks, I've got a feeling that the controller might be built into the motor assembly? These trikes are apparently available with a throttle option, so am hoping it might not be too complicated.......I'll have to take a closer look!

Not sure if anyone ever worked out how to do this, but my wife has one of these, but it only has pedal assist, and she would ideally like a throttle for occasional use. Does anyone have any experience of this, or ideas as to how it could be done....? Thanks

Yes, I've now got a throttle, and derestricted it, so it will happily do about 21mph (which I find much more pleasant that 15!) As VFR said, you have to change the controller and display etc, but it wasn't that difficult, as long as you're happy with a bit of soldering! I've compiled a word...

Also, I wouldn't worry about the mileage, I don't imagine you will have done many miles yet anyway

The settings on a KT display won't be a problem for you, as I can let you have all the settings I have on mine, and they're obviously the same bike.

I decided against using Oxygen's own controller and display, as they are about £140 from memory, and the KT ones I used (on VFR400's advice!) were about half of that price. Whichever bits you use, you'll have to to some soldering/ connections, as even the Oxygen one has different connectors on...
