Do you know how to ride the electric unicycle?

yerrrrrrrrs, and there isnt anything remotely embarrassing about squatting open legged in public on what looks like a large 1990's desktop that developed a mind of its own

Brand New NCX 31.6mm Suspension Seatpost

as a complete aside - ive got an NCX seatpost on an ancient raleigh, it's the best thing ive yet found on the planet for very badly potholed english roads - i also have a brompton, with a telescopic seatpost - the upper part of which has an uncommon 26.2 mm diameter - can anyone think of any...

    Battery advice

headsets and bottom brackets and cranks cost peanuts for a Chinese bike like that with a hub motor and are as far as I know very similar across the board in that price range

    Battery advice

correct me if I'm wrong - but you describe a 36 mile commute (18 there, 18 back) - you're saying your ebike does it at an average of around 20mph - but that it wont do the full 36 miles on a single charge? I wouldn't sell it at all - I would take the charger to work and recharge there before...

    Fast Legal Bike

i wonder if we could have a break down, in percentage, between those forumites who, a - enjoy reading this thread, b - feel it makes them actively consider self harm, and c - feel like riding a dongled bike into a tree at high speed for having to re-read the same stuff yet again. I think we are...

Do ebike controllers protect SLA batteries?

Hi James, here's to teh least knowledgeable and experienced member of teh forum replying to your post! but here goes: as far as i know yoru controller will have something called a LVC (low voltage cutout) to protect batteries - i.e. it will cut off power from teh batteries (using - i think -...

Using a lightweight generator to charge Bosch e-bike battery

same here, i think high population density and a hypercapitalist sense of individual entitlement doesnt help. It can, perversely, be funny - last week a mother tried to ram me with a buggy on my brompton (trying to push me into the road, i was, to be fair, on the pavement, but the road was very...

    Oxydrive kits

many thanks that's very helpful. I think I will have to get a new bottom bracket - I will need to do some reading first (Sheldon etc) to figure out what I have (square taper I think) - which BB will the small sensor fit? on mine the splines on the non drive side looked as if it should fit =-...
